Some more food i'm not big on-eggs, at least I don't like eggs by themselves(or omelettes)the texture is just really weird and gross to me. Also truly do not understand the obsession some people have with Bacon, it's meh at best and I truly do not get the desire to put it on everything.
Another film I remembered hating and finding massively overrated-A Christmas Story, i'm sorry but I just found that film pure torture to sit through.
I don’t mind eggs, but the kind with runny yolk just grosses me tf out.
Bacon is fire though.
it tastes OK but never blew my mind or anything and i'll only have like a tiny piece every once in a while out of boredom, but i can't bring myself to eat an entire strip. Speaking of which I don't get the fascination with BLTs myself, one place my dad likes to go to had a BLT pizza and that grossed me out(also i'm one of those who hates pineapple on pizza).

Who tf puts lettuce on pizza? We oughta summon the pretentious Italian pizza chefs for this one.

It was more of a flatbread then a regular pizza(as otherwise the lettuce would've been burnt to a crisp)but still i thought it was average at best, my mom seemed to like it though.
Not necessarily a "Godfather" thing but I have nowhere else to put this, so a possibly unpopular opinion:
I'm glad the Hamtaro English dub stopped where it did, before they got like the weird circus girl and that magic candy world thing and those 2 whiny drama sister hamsters. I agree with the American localizers there-that is indeed "stupid." I was doing a long form watch of the whole series and once I got past episode 100 or so...it just felt like a major dip in quality, moreso people just pumping out episode after episode with AWWW CUTEEEE KAWAIIIII to "get product out" rather than actual carefully crafted, touching, sweet episodes with some element of calmness and realism.
Same goes for the 4th movie, which had a MC who was basically a hamster "mary sue." On that note, thank god the movies ended after that. I know for years the Hamtaro movies were the "holy grail" for Hamtaro fans, and they are fun watches, but the 4th sucks outside of the fairy tale/folklore elements, the 3rd...like nothing happens besides an extended race and some "holy prayer scene," and the 1st and 2nd and just kind of "good." ISH. But nothing more than just "good." Sort of good.

Similarly I think 4Kids made the right decision in not dubbing the rest of Yugioh 5Ds(which didn't happen cause of the TV Tokyo lawsuit contrary to what many believe, it was actually because they wanted to skip ahead to Zexal) as the way it ended after the tournament felt just right, don't get me wrong I liked parts of the final episodes but the big twist involving Z-One was a MAJOR letdown(they had the perfect opportunity to tie him in with Yusei's past and they chickened out)and I can see why 4Kids didn't do them given how dark they got(don't know how they would've edited around what happened to Bruno)and that one terrible pointless clip-show episode they were right to skip over.
Speaking of Yugioh I personally did not like the "Dawn of the Duel" arc on the anime at all, I did a post on the Yugioh sub-reddit years ago explaining why I personally could not get into it at all. I actually stopped watching the show on Kids WB as that arc was airing because I found it so boring and only came back for the Yugi vs Bakura duel and the final duel between Yami and Yugi.
I did not care for Zootopia, it's one of Disney's weaker movies in my opinion.
I enjoy it and i'm excited for the sequel, however I was never big on the Frozen movies myself, I think they are decent but not amazing.
I like Zootopia, in fact I would say I "really like it," but the metaphor isn't the best, and after I heard some legit points (in a film review as part of a Oscar animated film retrospective) I had never thought of before...there's some...very questionable implications with the way characters and worldbuilding are portrayed. I still very much like the characters and world and a fair bit of the dialogue and some of the action scenes, and I get there's no such thing as a "perfect metaphor," but when a film prides itself on its message so much like Zootopia does, it's hard to not criticize it heavily when it doesn't do that message well.

To be fair the portrayal was originally even more questionable as there was originally an entire subplot about how the predators are fitted with shock collars that keep them from attacking others, that was cut pretty late into production after Disney realized it didn't make the herbivores look very heroic to essentially enslave the predators like that.
More stuff that comes to mind-Blu-Ray and 4K, sorry but I don't get the hype, DVD is more then good enough for me, I only get Blu-Ray if the disc has exclusive special features like deleted scenes or the unrated/directors cut version of a film and I see 4K as a big waste of money.
Also I don't feel the need to play current video games on PC(I basically only play sixth-gen PC ports for the most part), I don't care how much better they look I ain't spending thousands of dollars on a graphics card/upgrade to my PC when it's much cheaper for me to play on console(plus a lot of PC ports now come with that godawful Denuvo DRM and I don't want that shit ANYWHERE on my PC).
Speaking of video games i truly don't get how Tetris winds up on so many "best games" lists, it's an average puzzle game at best. Also don't get how Gordon Freeman ends up on so many "Best character" lists, I like the Half Life series(though i'm kinda eh on the first one) but come on.
Also far as game shows go I never got the popularity of Deal or No Deal, it's just a shitty guessing game with no skill involved whatsoever.
There's also a lot of popularity reality shows that i'm either indifferent to(Survivor) or despise(any of that Real Housewives shit and other shows in that vein).
Also not feeling the hype on the original Doom game, didn't grow up with it so there's no real nostalgia there, for me it didn't get good until Doom 3.
I don't understand why people like Glaive's music so much.
_alexpine_ on discord. 2018 was HOW many years ago?!?! If RPGMakerFan12 is so good, why isn't there an RPGMakerFan13? lostmediawiki.com/User:BrightyLighty

BD's and players are so penetrated in the market now, it's pretty easy to build a collection on a budget, even if you just casually visit thrift stores and the like. 4K is still a bougie thing, but it's probably gonna come down in price and accessibility soon, too.
"oooh, you're a- a freaked out child in the woods..."
Maybe a bit controversial but I don't really care for HD/4K/hi-res 60fps gaming.
It never looks good to me, just way too much unnecessary details to the point where it is over stimulating. And something about the framerate always makes me dizzy. I have issues with my vision when it comes to bright lights and motion. It sort of feels like I can't enjoy these new AAA games because of it. I end up playing more 2D and fixed camera games. Or stuff like Fallguys, Minecraft, or some Nintendo games which tend to have more basic designs and less hyperdetail.

Oh I know, I just don't care enough about HD to bother getting Blu-Rays for EVERY single movie i'm interested in, i only get em if they have deleted scenes/an alternate version of the film that I can't get on DVD, otherwise I don't bother. I especially don't care enough to waste money on the REALLY pricey Blu-Rays like Dogma.
100% on the bacon thing. I NEVER got why there was so much stuff in the late 00s and 10s about bacon being the "best food ever." Was this some type of consumer psyop to increase sales of real bacon or something (sort of like a secret Got Milk campaign)? I only like turkey bacon myself.
I could see people not liking A Christmas Story since it got way overexposed and overly "consoomer" in the past decade, similar to The Office or Friends. I would especially hate it if I was forced to watch it every year. My own family mostly popped in It's a Wonderful Life every single year...which I found HORRIBLY boring <_< Really sad considering it was among the "top movies of all time" for my family member who has since passed. I may watch it again someday to see if I feel differently about it.
On that note, Citizen Kane. Greatest film of all time...okay?
I hated that movie since I saw it in the mid-2000s LONG before it got overexposed or was trendy to do so, I just never liked it.
My mom isn't big on Citizen Kane either(and she prefers the original Godfather novel to the movie) and I too always hated It's a Wonderful Life, I always found parodies and homages to it to be more enjoyable(like that recent slasher movie "It's a Wonderful Knife").
My dad hates A Christmas Story because my mom puts it on EVERY YEAR
