Now, I agree with the green beans and peas though. I’ll eat them, but I’m not overjoyed about it, it’s usually just because I don’t want to waste food.
I feel zero guilt about wasting food I hate.
I mean, I suppose I agree, but only if it’s food I cannot stand, like raisins. Absolutely vile.
Oh, and those Heath candies. I remember one Halloween, I ate a Heath bar, and dear god, it tasted so bad, I think I actually threw up in the car (I might be mis-remembering and simply spat it out, but either way, I hated the taste of it.), and I think I might just hate toffee in the same way you hate steak, unless it’s mixed in with other ingredients, I won’t eat it.
Oh, and tootsie rolls suck too. Easily some of the worst Halloween candy out there- nah fuck that, worst candy in general.

Tootsie Rolls are meh but I'll take them over hard candy(especially that root beer flavored stuff that they give out at the post office near me). I actually like Heath Bars and like anything with toffee(especially Hershey's Skor bars)though i'm not big on Twizzlers or Airheads(or sour candy in general)
I used to hate Raisins as a kid but now I don't mind them too much if they're in like a cereal or oatmeal, I just can't eat them by themselves.

At least we can all unanimously agree that Tootsie Rolls are “meh” at best.
I also hate mint chocolate chip ice cream. Like, I don’t want ice cream to taste like toothpaste man!

That's where I have to disagree, it does not taste like toothpaste to me at all personally, I find it quite good, strawberry ice cream on the other hand not so much(or any fruit flavored ice cream in general really), i'd rather my ice cream not have bits of fruit in it, when it comes to Spumoni ice cream I generally avoid the red portion for that reason.
Also I do not like whipped cream on anything period, it does not taste very good to me and the texture reminds me too much of shaving cream.
Almost forgot I also for the most part cannot stand dark chocolate, WAY too bitter for my tastes, if it's mixed with sea salt caramel it helps mask the bitterness somewhat but dark chocolate by itself with no other flavors is just plain revolting to me, it almost makes me gag from how bitter it is and one time I had to spit it out.

Now, I agree with that last one too. Milk, White, and just about any other kind of chocolate is good, but dark chocolate is just too bitter. In it’s defense, I think it works better as like, a baking ingredient or something.
And here’s another one: theme parks in general… or at least, some of the bigger ones like Disney World. Haven’t been to universal studios Orlando, but my experience at Disney world was not very pleasant, especially not the one I had at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
And in order to prevent making the same mistake again, I’ll just say you can feel free to DM me for details (and I owe an apology to DarkRage6 for my “confession” private thread. I thought telling you what I did was justified since you did ask me if I was okay because of what I kept posting, but i should’ve asked or something, since you clearly seemed uncomfortable. I’m sorry about that.)

My family actually considered going to Disneyworld when I was in junior high but thankfully it never happened as I know I wouldn't have had fun as i'm not into theme parks like at all cause of my autism(that's also why i've never been to a concert, well that and the ridiculous ticket prices and the fear of possibly getting trampled, speaking of the latter I also hate Black Friday for that reason and don't bother going shopping while it's happening as it's simply not worth the risk and hassle).
If you want to apologize fine but i'd much prefer if you did it in PMs rather then in a public post.

Hey, is it ok if you dm me as well? Also this video has some good points about Disney Land/World, mainly due to the fact that planning a trip there is stressful, and it's kind of contradicting the whole "vacation" aspect of it.
Though Universal looks interesting to me because it has a wider variety of IPs there. Also, if I wanted to take a "vacation" vacation, I'd rather go to a Nickelodeon Resort (mainly the one in Punta Cana because it has the pineapple villa) because it's all-inclusive, meaning that you don't have to pay for anything besides the hotel room and some souvenirs if you wanna buy them.

Yeah, I think I might have a better time at Universal, but I’m not sure.
This will sound ridiculously prudish, but trying to consume "critically acclaimed" movies, games, and shows that have mega harsh cursing like every other word. Maybe it's the way I grew up and I can't help it, but UNLESS it's like super, super important for the setting (say, a rough neighborhood, or certain war torn environments) I just find it irritating. Some, or even a fair bit, of media does use harsh profanity effectively or humorously or even importantly, but I feel like certain pieces of media don't do it for me, because I'm too distracted by the language. For example, my mixed friend group might use harsh curse words like 25% of the time, not like 70-80+% of the time as some media seems to say that "we all do."

I know Disney World isn't for everyone, but I feel like what a lot of people don't understand is that you have to do your research before going. Looking up the best dates, looking up hotels, looking up rides, looking at other stuff outside the parks.
When my sister first went, she had a horrible time because she over paid for some Disney vacation package (don't buy these, they are scams). She also was trying to "wing it" while park hoping and just ended up miserable.
When she went again with me and I slowed down and spent more time pointing out small details and talking about the park's history (I used to work in video archive and got tons of Disney home movies from the 70s and 80s). She ended up enjoying herself more.
Tho maybe my unpopular opinion...
I think rides like Peter Pan, Small World, and the Tiki Room are sort of garbage. I think they are kept around for the novelty of how old they are. But I don't think they are good rides.
Yeah, I went to several theme parks as a kid, and granted I'm showing some of my privilege here, but my family often just took light time off in a school year and went during an off season. We almost NEVER went in the summer or winter vacation or during a holiday week.
So I have a LOT of good memories from my own times at theme parks. Though my parents also had the sense to wait until I was past toddler age to take me to my first theme park trip-seeing a gazillion babies/toddlers in theme parks for their "first trip," like people, if your kids aren't at least past toddler stage, they aren't going to remember a lick of this $$$ vacation you paid for. I mean, if the 1 year old is just there because the older siblings or cousins wanted to come, sure, but if you're purposefully taking your 1 year old hoping to "make memories"...yeah, I don't get it.

I used to not like hearing my parents curse but now I don't even care anymore, personally I find it far more distracting when people in films and shows don't curse when it would be entirely appropriate, that's something that always takes me out of PG-13 films(especially PG-13 horror films) cause i'm like "people wouldn't talk this way in real life".
Honestly my dad swears way more in real life(hell he was my introduction to it before any piece of media was) then any movie character i've ever seen so i'm just pretty numb to it and it does not bother me in the slightest.
It also distracts me when otherwise mature TV shows like The Shield and Sons of Anarchy shy away from saying the F-word(blame the moral guardians that freaked out over the 2004 Super Bowl nip slip for that one, Shield was supposed to have an F-bomb in season 3 but advertisers got cold feet after the incident and FX wouldn't let them do it anymore)it takes me right out of the show personally as I that in real life those characters would've absolutely been dropping the f-bomb left and right.
