Something else I forgot to mention-I never gave a shit about "meme culture" internet stuff like Homestar Runner, RWBY, Red vs Blue, etc and never understood the appeal frankly.
Also always HATED the Conjuring, Insidious and Paranormal Activity franchises(I hate the majority of found footage movies in general, never got the appeal quite frankly, the original Blair Witch gave me a headache and wasn't scary at all, sequel was way better)and I hated the Grudge and Ring remakes and i'm baffled as to how anyone could find them scary.
ALSO at this point of "YouTube cinema," I cannot do Analog Horror anymore. It's just way too played out. Even if it's well made and sincere and tries to be fresh, it's beyond a cliche to me personally.
I tried with some longer form horror centric videos from people I normally enjoy like NightMind, Nick Crowley, or Internet Historian, but I just don't find them interesting enough to sit through for like 2+ hours. I'm pretty sure one of Crowleys long form videos has been on my watch later list for over 2 years now...
Yeah, I drifted off from it cause, like my critique of Amazing Digital Circus, most these days follow the same story and horror beats. People crap on creepypasta, but at least there was a good chance of encountering pastas with a variety of topics during their peak.
Interestingly, one of my parents tried to rewatch the original Star Wars movie trilogy and they said they just COULDN'T despite loving them as kids...said they were just "too hokey" as an adult.
I think it's already been mentioned here, but I just can't get into Harry Potter the way everyone else did back in the 90s and 00s, whether in book or movie form. Neither the books nor movies have been anything more than "good" to me, even as I like the interesting worldbuilding, vocabulary, allusions. Also, not sure if this is true, though it would be funny if true-whenever anyone on the Books subreddit posts "Harry Potter is overrated" (or something like that) it almost instantly gets trashed/downvoted/REEEEEEEEEEDDDD like crazy and so the poster often has to head to Unpopular Opinion/Controversy subreddits instead and post it there to get any real constructive debate. Though I will also say that it's become more acceptable as of late to admit that the movies (especially the Goblet of Fire) are not the best adaptations, and downright bad at times. My own partner was particularly miffed that they took a lot of Ron's star moments from the books and gave them to Hermione in the name of making him look dumber and "funnier" than he actually is in the books.
Speaking of books I never really gave a damn about Sherlock Holmes or Jane Austin.
Yeah, Jane Austin had mini craze fad in my high school, and I liked Pride and Prejudice well enough, but not nearly well enough to try any of her other books. Some girls were absolutely crazy about her though.
1. I have never really gotten how obsessed people are with Keanu Reeves. He seems like a cool, nice, and neat person with no major scandals, but like I just don't....get it. Liked first John Wick well enough, but not obsessed with it the way others are either.
2. I actually don't like the first Spongebob movie too much, possibly because I NEVER found the LE EPIC David Hasselhoff cameo funny, whereas everyone else seems to think that is the ABSOLUTE FUNNIEST JOKE/TWIST EVER OMG (ditto for the Goofy Goober scene, though I do like the actual song). I think I was also miffed that Sandy Cheeks, probably my fave char, didn't do like ANYTHING in the movie. That said, it has been a lonnnggggg while since I watched it, so I may need to give it another watch and see if my opinion softens on it.
3. Watched Hamilton a few years ago. Good, but not something I care to ever watch again (as of now).

I do like the first SpongeBob movie, but I agree with the bolded part.

Funnily enough back in the 90s and 2000s it actually used to be cool to make fun of Reeves acting and it was common for TV shows to use him as a punchline, it's only since the late 2000s that he saw something of a reappraisal of his acting career and now people like him quite a bit. I think he's a fine actor but not one of the best, I like the John Wick movies but I feel like they could've been made with just about any actor in the lead role without much changing. I just wish people talked more about Reeves more underappreciated movies like Street Kings.
I don't care for musicals in general(HATE Sound of Music with a passion) with very few exceptions(Pitch Perfect and High School Musical series being one of them)
I like the Spongebob movie but I had no clue who the hell David Hasselhoff was at the time(as i'd never seen Baywatch, it's cultural popularity had come and gone by the time i'd started watching syndication)so I was more perplexed then anything by his cameo(if anything I found his cameo in Kickin it Old Skool funnier). There was originally a subplot in the movie where Sandy is on the run from government agents, but it got cut because Hillenberg and others thought it felt too out of place and distracting.

Ah, nice insight on Reeves, that's a great point-sometimes actors get WAY overshadowed from their other roles because of one single "landmark" role that no one can shut up about. And that in itself is sort of like a "I don't care for the godfather moment." "I think that role was good/decent/fine but I wish we could talk about their OTHER roles for once, please!!!"
In general, I'm just not a "musical" person either, despite the best efforts of my parent to make me into the talent of a Carnegie hall musician with 10+ years of formal music lessons <_< This goes to anything related to musicals-those animatics on Youtube, cover songs, acapella, stage plays, random songs stuffed into indie animations, reenactments of songs, etc. Don't like any of em. I currently can't even think of one single musical off the top of my head I have watched more than once, except for Frozen (rewatched with relatives) and maybe some random clips of High School Musical (which I actually do have a soft spot for, similar to you enjoying it).
Indeed, I knew who David Hasselhoff was (I'm in my 30s), I just didn't get what was so funny about that one super lonngggggg joke that everyone else found absolutely hysterical. I was also perplexed by the whole scene-I guess a LOT of people find it super touching/emotional and I just...didn't? I definitely didn't cry at it the way every Youtuber seems to have, haha (I did see the movie at any older age, which may have affected things too). And thanks for the info about Sandy-I didn't know that! Like I said, I will likely give the movie a full rewatch at some point and see if I can appreciate it more than I did the last time I watched it.
Juno (2007) is fine. Maybe even kind of good. But I didn't get all the hype for it once I actually saw it. I felt like it was trying way too hard to be "OMG QUIRKY" in that 00s indie movie way.
Mean Girls (2004) I also didn't find particularly good, though the fact that my hyper religious/conservative parent kept judging/criticizing it much of the time we watched it ("OMG they said that NO NO word again!") probably didn't help things, and I can't really judge the film as a result.
Monty Python and the Holy Grail. One of the "funniest comedies" ever according to much of my peer group in both high school AND college. It was...good I guess? But like a "top comedy of all time" movie? OH _____ NO.

I get what you are saying about Keanu Reeves. I liked him in Constantine, Bill and Ted, The Matrix movies and Brotherhood of Justice but I am not obsessed with him either and I haven't yet seen any of the John Wick movies.
A few more:
1. Besides the Pokemon Anime which I have liked since it started and the Digimon series I liked for a while, I am not into Japanese Anime in the same way some people are. It is not that I dislike it, I am just not interested in it for the most part.
2. I have never been into the Beatles like so many people are. I don't dislike them or their music, but I have never been that interested in them.
3. Taylor Swift. I know how popular she is but I am just not interested in her or her music. While I did like her early music, I am not into her now and would rather not be hearing about her so much as I did last year. Heck, back in December I decided to change the barber I normally go to, to one that is closer to where I live. I phoned one and got an appointment. When I went for the appointment and sat down in the chair to have my haircut, one of the first thing the barber asked me was is if I liked Taylor Swift!
4. Dr Who. I liked it up to when David Tennant and Matt Smith were the Doctor, but after that I just became uninterested in the show and haven't really watched it since, besides seeing a few clips here and there of newer episodes.
5. Vertical video. I get that people shooting vertically with their smartphone has really cemented vertical videos place, in social media especially, but I have never seen the appeal of it. For that matter, I never really liked the short form vertical videos you see on social media like TikTok, Instagram and YouTube with shorts. With a number of exceptions, I have mostly found that these short videos often follow a trend rather than being original, often have the most random, often copyrighted music that to me not only doesn't sound great, but is sometimes a bit loud. Plus there is the lack of controls on them other than like, pause and mute/unmute.

Me and my family went to see the second spongebob movie years back when it was in theaters and we all agreed it was the better spongebob movie. It just fits the show a whole lot better than the stuff in the first movie.
Cheating because I don't hold this sentiment anymore, but up until about a year ago, I really genuinely didn't enjoy the Elder Scrolls games. I felt like they were prioritizing immersion over gameplay.
I'll admit, though, I finally did a proper playthrough of Skyrim and understand now that all that dialogue isn't just essential to immersion, it tailors the gameplay for you. That's why the game takes a minute to get off the ground.

I never cared for Skyrim personally(or Elder Scrolls in general), i'm with TotalBiscuit in that it has the "width of an ocean but the depth of a paddling pool"

I wish the 2nd movie didn't use CGI for a big portion of it, I don't feel like that fit the show so the first film holds up for me more.
