After doing tons of research, I'd love to see American Dog. At first I was skeptical on there actually being a test screening, but the more I found of it, the more likely it seems. It most likely will not be in a "complete movie" state, judging by what I found, but it would still be a delight to see.

I would genuinely be flabbergasted if anything for this movie exists beyond a test animation.
What various original cuts? I’ve never heard of this.
There are alternate endings to the Flash confirmed to exist. Also there is about four hours worth of footage that Andy Muschietti shot for the film. We only got the version we got due to Warner interference which created re shoots, which delayed the film's release even further. There's alternate endings like Keaton's Bruce Wayne being present at the courthouse at the end(backed up with set photos), another one with Calle's Supergirl and Cavill's Superman, an alternate ending including Batgirl(which could be a rumor), another one where Gadot, Affleck and Momoa's respective characters are present at the court house(on set photos as evidence) and who knows what else Warner forced cut out of the final film that was released. The glaring issue with the final film's CG effects was proven to be Warner interference backed up by one of the VFX artists who had been working on the film at one time. I'd like to see all of the cut footage, alternate endings and all that Zsaslav is sitting on.
We're dealing with the same new leadership in Warner who refused to release two Scooby-Doo animated movies, where the one with Krypto the Superdog literally had to be leaked just for us to actually get to see it. It didn't help that the version that I snagged from Archive has the footage advancing while the audio is lagging behind several minutes which disrupts the viewing experience.
I thought Scooby do and Krypto too was no longer cancelled? Damn, I shouldn’t have deleted my copy.
As for the flash, what I think they should do is release an extended cut that contains the more “transitional piece” edits, like the latest alternate ending, and a few other deleted scenes, and release the rest as bonus features.
Not just the Ayer cut, there are also some versions that were test screened, referred to as the “Ayer’s studio cut”(which is the one they used for the trailers) and “the studio cut”. Correct me if I’m wrong, but I heard that after the screening, they combines them into what ended up being the theatrical cut.
I’d love to see those 2 cuts of the film, just because I am curious if they may be better than the theatrical cut, and also if there’s any footage exclusive to those 2 cuts specifically. They could be included as bonus features if the Ayer cut gets an official release. Maybe the 210 minute cut of Ghostbusters: Answer the Call too?
I’d also love to see the R-Rated cut of Scooby Doo 2002, but according to James Gunn, he claims that the r rated cut doesn’t exist anymore.
I'm pretty sure the R-rated version never got made to begin with, the original script got toned down to PG-13 I believe and that later got trimmed after test screenings.
Actually, I think the story goes that after the test audience mis-interpreted an oral sex joke, it was given an R Rating by the MPAA, so I think it can still be considered an R-Rated cut.
It’s still a shame it doesn’t exist anymore.
You know what, I’d also love to see the blue sky studio’s cut of Nimona actually….. honestly, I should change the name of this thread.
House of 1000 Corpses, mostly because there WAS (allegedly) an alternate cut/screener online at some point in 2003. The person who uploaded it stated it had a runtime of approx. 103 minutes, compared to the final films' runtime of 89 minutes. That film had entire subplots and characters cut, so I would love to see how different it was compared to the final movie.

Now this sounds interesting.
I’d also love to see the 200 minute cut of uncle buck, and maybe the 225 minute cut of planes trains and automobiles, as the Hughes estate has a lot of deleted footage that is being held from the public. Maybe they could still exist on film? I’d love to see that extended clown beat down, and the extended state trooper scene.

There was a Blu-Ray release of the latter with a bunch of deleted footage.

While I don't think it got far enough to be fully complete, I do believe enough was done for scenes to have been storyboarded and even animated for a test screening. I discovered tons of basic renders from the movie, some of which were complete enough to be usable in final production, such as my pfp. If the movie gets found, I am betting a lot of people will be shocked by how much was done.

True, but there’s still over an hour of deleted scenes that either no longer exist, or are being held from the public.
I know this may be a dumb question, but do you think the deleted scenes for both of these films could still exist on film?

If it turns out it did actually get that far I would probably cream my shor-I MEAN- be all flabbergasted. Yeah, that’s what I meant to say…

As mentioned by lovely fellow Lost Media forum member Michael in another thread, the alternate version of The Golden Compass which is believed to be at least 30 minutes longer and have a different ending. I also suspect that this other version likely had more overt anti-religious messaging, which I read (in a 2007 newspaper article) had to be "very toned down" to appeal to the more religious American family movie market.

Yeah, I just noticed like a week ago that Scooby-Doo and Krypto Too did indeed get an official release from Warner, it's available on one of the pay per view channels on Direct TV. That utterly shocked me considering how previously it was being treated like Warner was just going to sit on the movie forever without letting it out. Maybe the official release came as a result of the online leaks, Warner wanting to get some profit out of the product after all. When I saw the film I didn't understand why Warner would've locked it away in the first place, the content in the movie isn't any different than any of the other Scooby-Doo DVD movies.
I just want to see all of the alternate endings to The Flash film for myself and not have them forever lost to rumor and set photos. I really was hoping the ending with Keaton's Bruce Wayne was going to be the theatrical release's ending. Clooney's version I know was a last minute gag that Gunn apparently wanted in. The guys over on the Screen Crush You Tube channel, at least one of them, seriously believes Clooney is the new DCU Batman when everything points to him not. It's a one and done joke, nothing more since The Flash is ending the previous DCU.

New Line Cinema was taking a big risk of criticism and controversy anyways just adapting The Golden Compass for the screen. I mean, right out of the gate the character's little magical animal friends are called 'demons' and the name is obviously associated with a sinister concept in general contrary to the friendly and fluffy magical animals that are actually seen in the film. I also never read the actual original novels but I do know the premise of them. I mean, sure make the movie(s) but marketing them towards a family friendly audience with many who hold religious traditions seriously wouldn't be a wise move using the original premise of the source material. It just invites the religious groups to come out of the wood work and protest, and really what good does it do to stir up any group of people and agitate them knowingly?
I actually did watch The Golden Compass and managed to enjoy some of the concepts in the film but thought the magical animals should have had a different name.

I think New Line were hoping all of the obnoxious right-wing religious nutjobs were going to give the film a ton of free publicity like the Da Vinci Code got the previous year as it got banned in a number of countries due to the controversial plot about the Bible and made a lot of money at the box-office as a result. But that didn't end up happening, still the film did do well overseas and would've made a profit if New Line hadn't so stupidly sold off the overseas box-office rights to someone else in a desperate attempt to make a short-term profit. The failure of this film domestically along with Semi-Pro the next year is what led to New Line declaring bankruptcy.
Is that why New Line decided to do those dumb reboots of Friday the 13th and A Nightmare on Elm Street that both bombed? At the very least if they wanted to use two of their most famous horror franchises to earn them back a little of the money they lost they at least could've done more sequels instead of reboots. I mean making the follow up to Freddy Vs. Jason being two reboots with new actors playing the horror icons was just box office poison waiting to happen, because I know as a fan to both franchises I only want to see the real actors playing the characters or not at all, lol.
Whoops, off topic!
While I'm thinking about it, that Jason X movie was horrible. That right there was trying to make a reboot and a sequel at the same time, and it's a very good example of how not to do one.
