Stuff With Scout Fly. He had a ton of videos about ranking Nickelodeon shows and cartoons and I was obsessed with them many years ago. I couldn't remember his name so I made a post on r/tipofmytongue asking about the channel and was sad to find out it was deleted with all videos being lost to time
I remember him as well. He revealed that he was basically just parroting popular opinion at the time and wasn't actually a cartoon nerd, just desperate to make a career off YouTube. I think he then tried to pivot to music reviews or his own music or something like that before leaving the Internet. Interesting case study, lol.
I watched his videos too, he seemed like a nice guy. But man, what a turn of events when he deleted all his videos, made it known that he had been putting on a fake persona and didn’t want to do it anymore, and posted a rant on his Instagram where he pretty much crapped all over his fanbase for showing concern for him.
Here’s one of his Stuff with Scout Fly videos on the Internet Archive:
Definitely a far cry from the upbeat cartoon lover character he portrayed. If he wanted to quit doing Stuff with Scout Fly he had every right to, but he didn’t have to be such an ass about it to his fans.
I can’t find them archived anywhere, but after this whole fiasco he rebranded his channel as Sweece Swooce and would do these livestreams where for several hours at a time he’d trash talk the YouTube cartoon community and cartoon fans in general. Seriously, how petty.

It seems anything leading up to him quitting the Internet is also lost. He just upped and disappeared without a trace!

Looked up some videos from a while ago about Scout Fly because why the fuck not. From what people in the comments are saying, it sounds like he's gone on-and-off with deleting his channel, bringing it back as a new rebrand, and then deleting it again. His most recent rebrand as "Wow, That Was Dark" was in 2022, and his last video was a poorly received rant about Sonic Frontiers.

Yes I’ve heard about his failed comebacks too! Something else I’ve read that’s wild is that even before he did the cartoon content his channel focused on the Jak and Daxter games and got a decent following before he all of a sudden deleted all his videos and made fun of all the Jak and Daxter fans that supported him. Notice a pattern? Dude seriously has some issues. Maybe he finally realized YouTube just isn’t for him.
there was this guy who made a sad fnaf animation and it had william afton killing micheal for killing evan and then going to the pizzeria to kill some kids in the back room of freddys. the videos were very bloody which might be one of the reasons why it stayed in my mind ever since i was 6.

there was this just shapes and beats fan animation channel i used to watch a lot back in 2020, another piece of personal lost media of mine had been kinda related to it, they made shitposts with characterized versions of levels from the game. i remember they joked about "grape juice without the g" and also made a psa for quarantine, joking about how they "knew what the viewer was doing" when they were instructing to wipe your devices.
Looks like the Screw Attack Youtube channel is gone now, I remember watching videos on that one, fortunately most of them are now on a Rooster Teeth archive website.
Also remember watching videos on the Machinima channel, it was probably the first ever video game channel to get a Youtube partnership so it's pretty significant(and it was where PewDiePie got his start, I remember they lost out on a huge brand deal with Levis because of PDP constantly inappropriately using the term for SA)so it's sad to see them gone.
This one is going to be obscure, so much so that I don't even remember the channel name. Back in 2006, I used YouTube to look up game clips and videos from TV shows I liked. One show was The Andy Milonakis Show. Being a new platform, there was more homemade skits/homages/reactions than actual show clips (also different copyright policies at play). Anyways, there was a channel that had some kids having a mock "interview with Andy Milonakis" with a kid playing the part of Andy (with a pillow under his shirt to be fat) and his sister player the interviewer.
This seems like an innocuous and uninteresting video, but it stuck with me for a few reasons. One is being a remnant of super early YouTube, this being the second year of operation, but also unfortunately harkens back to the "wild west" era of the internet as well. I just remember this was the most vile, hate-filled comment section for a couple of teenagers making a fun video. Though this really wasn't uncommon for comment sections of the time. 18 years later, I hope they're doing alright in life.
Not that it would help in tracking down a channel that's likely long been purged, but one of their other videos was called "Slide of Doom," or something like that.
This guy known as “TheBoredRabbit” or something like that. He made parodies of the old Angry German Kid meme. I watched a few of his videos back in 2017. Last year, when I remembered him, I searched his name up, just to find nothing. Even on YouTube, i couldn’t find anything, so his channel may have been deleted.

this is probably a weirder one, but i just remembered my old youtube channel. it's been deleted cause my sister deleted the email it was on, so it's effectively lost media lol. idk if i want to find it though idk whats on it other than shitty just shapes and beats stuff
There was a bumper uploading channel I remember back in the day named ABigD. The only reason I remember him is because he would put an ugly Sony Vegas impact font watermark on the corner of his uploads, despite them just being commerical rips of Discovery Kids or whatnot (aka, not his content). Some of his uploads have been saved, but because he was seemingly one of the few bumper dudes who knew how to crack his DVR's encryption to gain HD footage, and he was one of the few people that actually recorded/cared about some of the things he uploaded (do that many people really remember/give a shit about that time Pinky and the Brain aired on Jetix?), the only recordings of these things are permanently tainted with his dumbass watermark. No reason I can recall for why he deleted everything, and his dumbass username makes it hard to search for stuff related to him.
I used to watch this channel called TVent08, that has long since been deleted. There's actually a lot of media of the channel that still exists, and I've compiled a MEGA drive of existing materials. Though, all of these videos are only a small portion of the channel that had hundreds. A lot of their web series' have been lost to time, like their sitcom called Quality Time, where no episodes have been found besides the intro and small clips.

A bunch of Screw Attack's old videos have been re-uploaded and preserved on to the Internet Archive, though there could be more that's been lost.
