There have been tons of times people have claimed to have some lost media they clearly didn't. What is one outrageous claim for having lost media they didnt you remember.

Years ago, there was this person that basically lived off of these false claims, and ultimately got banned from this forum for it. Among other things, he claimed to have:
played a lost 32X game that doesn't exist
watched a lost Sonic the Hedgehog animated series that doesn't exist
a VHS recording of the world's first television broadcast, but refused to release it or at least provide proof
most infamously, a film reel containing an old racist cartoon that doesn't exist, and posted what he claimed was a traced screenshot when he was asked to provide proof of that
and finally, the one that got him banned, a DVD of a bootleg series that plagiarized Spongebob that doesn't exist.
