A variety of things brought me here. Mostly video games and animations. I think the thing that actually brought me here is Heathcliff: Bad Kitty because it was something I saw and wonder what happen to the project.
One day, I wanted to rewatch the 4kids dub of One Piece. I believe the official date was September 28th, 2015, as I remember the Hu-Man notice board being there the same day.
I've always been interested in all that is lost, and this wiki was perfect for me.
Now, I am desperately searching for anything on "Tooned in!", in the hopes to find this lost piece of Nickelodeon history.
I found this site through Bedhead Bernie's videos on lost media (specifically his "A Day With Spongebob Squarepants" videos and his recent video on "Cracks"), which I found him through Pan Pizza's Tumblr page. Since then I've taken an interest in lost media, especially since I'm someone who's heavily into really obscure stuff.
My memory is shite, but IIRC when I was looking in Trollpasta Wiki, there were some people who were interesting, and I decided to look in their accounts, and lo and behold, in January 24, 2014, I discovered Lost Media Wiki. Before it was the shitfest infested with kids who are boars in disguise, Lost Media Wiki was the shit, and I even witnessed Garage being found. But then.....That all changed when the Wikia admins banned Dycaite because he wanted to move the site, due to the piglets who were castrated known as the VGCP invaded the wikia. So, they moved, but the founder of Wikia refused to shut it down, so the pigs infested the rotting Wikia. And there we go.

I came upon the original wikia several years ago by way of ADWSS and Crackmaster, which I discovered while I was doing research for a story I was writing at the time. I write science fiction stories, largely for fun but also hoping to be published (or self-publish) some day, and I also write some Horror so I conceived of a story based on the idea of a creepypasta or urban legend. Titled Channel Zer0 which was based on the idea of a destroyed or lost cartoon and the effect it had on people, and decades later this group of teenagers researching urban legends receive a copy of it and things go bad from there. But to actually understand this, and to see if any possible bits of inspiration were out there, I looked up lost or destroyed cartoons in real life, and stumbled on the earlier wikia's articles about ADWSS and Cracks.
(ironic side note: Channel Zer0 is the name of a SyFy tv show now with the precise same plot...wow)
Anyway, I found the whole thing fascinating, and more so, incredibly creepy. The fact was that something identical to what I imagined, like Cracks, was real kinda blew my mind. So as I looked around the wikia I found stuff I had seen or possibly even had on VHS from the years when I used to record every show on TV for no discernible reason. Half of this stuff I didn't even know was lost or missing. That's when I found Yeah Yeah Beebiss I and I just became obsessed. The title, the bizarreness, the just mystery of it all. So I stuck around and I actually edited a few of the original wikia pages with information and left comments on the old site. I only joined here recently because I wanted to post some research I did on YYBI and also post non-anon comments in the comments section. So there you go.
I heard about the Lost Media Archive in passing while lurking various forums. The concept was interesting to me, but the standards of inclusion and overal quality were very low so I didn't pay much attention to it.
A few months after, I came accross the Lost Media Wiki while googling La planète de Donkey Kong/DKTV. The quality control and software was better so I joined the wiki at the end of 2016 and made a few contributions, as well as joining the Discord.

Once while I was ~~slacking off during class~~ doing some intense research, I decided to look up "1999 Spongebob". That brought me to the LMA page on Spongeboy Ahoy. I browsed the LMA a bit and really liked it, so I looked up "lost media wiki" the next day to continue reading. I was really confused when it was a completely different website, but I eventually learned of the LMA/W schism. And now 8 months later, here I am.
There I was, knees deep in the sand, helicopters swirling above-head, death surely coming to me if I didn't keep my eyes open... Wait... wrong origin story.
I read about the Chubbuck tape on TV tropes, googled it, found my way onto the wikia version, been here since 2013. Wrote articles for a year and a half before finally making The Lost Media Chronicles.
