I imagine that Wikipedia would not list the game we care about, since it never released (we know it was called Power Rangers Legacy based on the title - which does not turn up relevant results)
I'm still pretty obsessed with this mystery so I decided to pick it back up.
First off, I really do like the theory that canadianchildhood said about THQ and Power Rangers. I looked at the Xbox's life (2001-2009) and all the Power Rangers games released over those years were from THQ. So I do think we can safely say THQ probably had a hand in that Power Rangers Legacy game, which would imply that the Comfy Couch game also came from THQ.
Second, regarding Power Rangers Legacy, I asked Unseen64 for screenshots from that game (which they never posted anywhere) and I got them-
These Power Rangers screenshots do look strikingly similar to the Comfy Couch screenshots regarding their simplicity, but what's even more surprising about the game is what the Unseen64 guy told me- that the anonymous dev "seems he had a playable prototype and he was trying to sell it to a collector at the time".
This was in reference to Legacy, not Comfy Couch, but it's really crazy to even think about cause it would mean a Big Comfy Couch prototype could exist out there too, but I guess this guy didn't have it, or if he did he didn't allude to it.
So yeah, maybe we should be looking for THQ employees from 2001-2009 who may have had a hand in developing these games? Perhaps the quality of the game in screenshots can give us an idea of what years we're looking at, but someone who's more familiar with Xbox development would probably have to throw their hat into the ring on that one.
It's not much, but it's something.
Do you know anywhere there could be an easy way to look for contact info on THQ devs?
Well, that could be difficult considering THQ doesn't really exist anymore, at least not in its previous form. but maybe if we found credits for the existing Power Rangers games, we could find people involved with multiple of them, who were up at THQ as publishers rather than one of the game developers...
(also, anyone here familiar enough with Power Rangers that the screenshot might provide a hint as to which series/season/spin-off/whatever it's from? Since, I know there's a million of them and it'd be nice to have a more accurate estimated date)

What? Why do you want to do that? I thought we were just trying to be able to browse the website
I didn't need that, the page already ran fine barring the missing images, which don't affect functionality.
Perhaps I am misunderstanding. When I go to the linked location, I get immediately redirected to a page called plugin2.htm . I figured this is what the OP wanted to fix. Maybe you're using a different browser which works?
Furthermore, I don't see any Shockwave on the homepage, like I said. Only Flash.
EDIT: Okay, I see what you mean, you're trying to play the Hotshot game.
Thought i'd make an article for forgotten online games as i'm sure we all have some from our childhood, yknow the free games you could find free online in sites like freeonlinegames.com.
The first one I'm wondering about was a top down adventure point and click game all I remember is it had some kid in a red shirt in a large maze like cave system and you had to go around collecting different coloured keys to unlock other parts of the cave most of the backgrounds were a solid brown colour. I believe it was called something like "Ned's Adventure" but Im not sure.
The second one is a work in progress as details in my memory are very faint. It was a 2d point and click adventure game which had a kid with i believe glasses and a backpack but not sure. Not sure what the point of the game was but i remember if you went one way the road got really dark and had a bunch of dead trees and spooky things. The style of gameplay was similiar to Garfield scary scavenger hunt. Edit: the game might have had something to do with walking home as i believe it was mostly all outside.
If anyone has any ideas on what these games were please let me know! Also, if you have some games yourself your looking for from online add them to thread:p
Your first game sounds a lot like Laffy Taffy 3D Pyramid Challenge.
Definitely one place to check is Flashpoint, they have a huge repository of games. bluemaxima.org/flashpoint/
Ah, it's easy then. Go to the broken page and if you're using Firefox/Pale Moon, hit Ctrl+Shift+K, or if you're using any other browser hit F12. You'll see the browser console appear, type this into the message box:
Then hit Enter. And now hit the back button and Noggin website should work. Cheers
Alright, ran the code, doesn't seem to work. Do you know any way I could rip the DCR from the page, or should I just go to the shockwave discord and get somebody more knowledgeable to do so?

...and go to any archived version of the site from October 2000 to April 2002. You'll know you've got the right version when the background's purple and there's some kind of redirect to a page with no images.
Question: are you using windows 10? I have a patch that might be able to help you with the shockwave crash. Can't help with the lost images. The site stays on the main page just fine for me with the noggin logo.
The Windows 10 Nvidia Fix only applies to Shockwave 3D. The Noggin homepage neither uses Shockwave nor Shockwave 3D. It uses Flash. Flash is NOT the same thing as Shockwave. The Windows 10 Nvidia Fix solves a single, specific problem. You can't throw it around like a magic wand for all computer problems. It is for 3D webgames like On The Run Classic or Burnin' Rubber. I know, because I was the one who researched the bug and found out what causes it.
Usually redirects like this are a JavaScript problem. The websites will check if the desired Flash version (probably 8 or 9) is installed and redirect if it isn't. However, I'm not seeing any redirect at the link given. Just a pink page with a bunch of broken images.
thanks for the links, i actually have win 7 32 bits, will the patch work anyways?, i mean, i can run dcr files using internet explorer, i have aonther one of "rule the beach volleyball" and it works pretty much fine.
I actually have no clue, but I'd say run it anyway. Other shockwave games did work other than DNB, but DNB didn't work until the patch.
Late to this, but the fix is not applicable to Windows 7. It'll simply exit if you run it on Windows 7. It was created by Pieter from Xform and I packaged it up into an executable.
So here's a bit of an odd case: something that was found a pretty long time ago back in 2016, but couldn't be opened because it was corrupted. At that time, Patrick Thiel shared a beta of the game Toonami: Trapped in Hyperspace, which was all that he had that remained of it. However, the file had been corrupted and would crash upon being opened. At the time, I didn't have the skill or knowledge to be able to figure out what had gone wrong. What I did notice was that another file it was sent with was presumably the page it was on, index.htm, and had been half swallowed up by a JPEG image. I knew that this meant the file must have gotten corrupted.
Today I decided to revisit the issue. I realized my initial guess that it was a sound related problem was wrong, because when I ran it in a debugger, the problem was occurring in a text related subroutine. I eventually figured out the cause: the ending few bytes of the file had become corrupted, and were all replaced with 0xFFFFFFFF - this was supposed to be a pointer to a Styled Text Cast Member's media, and so it caused an access violation. However, the text file in question (materials.txt) is used in every 3D Groove game, so I was able to substitute it for the one from there.
As per my original theory, one of the sound effects did get garbled as well - however, it is not the cause of the crash, and will simply stop playing prematurely. So, I have uploaded the fixed beta (mind you, still not the full game) to my 3D Groove MEGA Folder.
I should also note that this game will go faster depending on your CPU clock speed, so you'll need either era appropriate hardware or my Old CPU Emulator tool to make it run at the correct speed. (forcing on Vsync won't help because it uses a software renderer.) github.com/tomysshadow/OldCPUEmulator/

This is just an update for forum users here who don't use the Discord. Thanks to the cooperation of Simon Edis from the game developer Ezone, one of the 3D Groove engine's big users, I now have a large number of the previously lost 3D Groove webgames. The ones that have been found include:
Volvo Cross-Country Challenge
Dunk Tank
Hamsterball Bowling
JetiXtreme 3D Racing
Johnny Kapahala: Island Grind
Kim Possible: Middleton Mayhem
Oban Star Racers: Great Race
AT&T Ultimate Challenge 2
M&M's: Yellow Takes Tokyo
Pepsi Pedal to the Metal
Pringles Pony Express
RC Stunt Machine Showdown
Tarzan's Jungle Rescue
...as well as a handful of never before seen prototypes! So definitely, go to the 3D Groove MEGA Folder to check all this new stuff out! Again thanks to Ezone for transferring all these games they had a hand in making off an old backup drive of theirs.
I think we're more likely to get answers from individuals from the Playstation game's credits, asking them if they knew about the Gamecube port, rather than Ubisoft who probably knows almost nothing about a small game they worked on 16 years ago.
Another one of these yet? Man, that description is super unhelpful. Literally all it says is "Bear in the Big Blue House is an Action game, developed and published by Ubisoft, which was cancelled before it was released." I feel like anyone could've written this. There isn't even any screenshots!
"Ubi Soft has announced that it has reached an agreement with Jim Henson Company to develop games based on the popular children's show Bear in the Big Blue House. The related games will be released on the Sony PlayStation, Nintendo GameCube, and the Game Boy Advance handheld. Although specific financial terms were not released, it was announced that the course of the agreement lasts for seven years."
This did make it sound like it would've been a different game than what was on the Playstation and Gameboy, but it's ambiguous, possibly because they did not know themselves. I also find it odd that the article was last updated in 2006 well after it was relevant.
"International licensing agreement concluded for the development of a video game based on well-known television series Bear in the Big Blue House, created by The Jim Henson Company. This series, which is broadcast every day on Playhouse Disney, has just started its fourth season in the United States, and has been distributed to several European countries. Ubi Soft Entertainment will develop the video game for the PlayStation®, Game Boy® Advance and GameCube (TM) consoles."
Aside from that this confirms the game was planned, I'm having trouble finding any kind of information on this whatsoever. I thought maybe on TCRF the Playstation game might have leftover Gamecube bits. Nope. I also saw that game was developed by DC Studios, so I tried specifically searching for DC Studios related results. Nothing. It really seems to not have gotten off the ground because there's just zero information on it.
EDIT: Another thing I found is that the composer of the game's music, Claude Samard, lists the Gamecube as one of the platforms for the game on his website. This means he likely composed music for the Gamecube game. By extension, the page also has additional credits, for Game Producer (Valerie Beaufils-Radellet,) Sound Producer (Sylvain Brunet,) and Sound FX (Big Wheels,) meaning that they likely were also behind the Gamecube game. www.claudesamard.com/bear-in-the-big-blue-house.html

Our only hope is to get this into a nostalgia subreddit. The reddit community is amazing at finding things like these
I wouldn't call it our only hope although it's not a bad idea. The problem is that normally things in r/nostalgia already have images/video associated with them, but we're still trying to find it.
