lol, I want to know the lore of the LMW Alligator. Where did he come from?
The LMW Alligator is the most dedicated moderator on the website. He is good friends with Protegent and protects the site from viruses with him.
He came from a toxic pile of goo that was awakened when a lightning bolt hit it.
I was also reawakened by a lightning bolt, as I haven't posted here in about (edit: half) a year and I haven't posted on the Discord in 2 or 3 months. Cheerio!

Unfortunately, I have a sad update for today. Vailskibum uploaded a video not even half an hour ago about the discovery of both Johnny Quasar demos, which can be viewed below.
There is no mention of our wiki, any other lost media sites, or even our forums. The only source mentioned is the uploader (who was also the VA for JQ), and all he got was a brief mention in the video itself and video links in the description.
This is very discouraging, but I feel that there could still be hope. In the tweet he sent me, he said he didn't always cite the LMW, which could technically mean he didn't cite any info from our wiki for this one video. For now, let's wait for Vail to publish 2 or 3 more LM videos without citation before we contact him again.
Edit: To the following replies, you're pretty much spot on with what I'm saying. This was just one video made in a very fringe case, and he has yet to make a typical LM video that would require a lot more research than this one, and therefore require info from our wiki. Again, godspeed, and let's hope Vail's next typical LM video gives us the credit that we deserve.

vailskibum94 is a monumental Youtuber who's channel primarily focuses on Western Animation (including lost western animation ,which is definitely what our wiki has been most interested in since the beginning.) He has done videos on Lost Media (as stated earlier), but he has made a specific fatal flaw in his LM videos- he fails to cite his main source. Sure, he's given exposure to the niche general topic as well as some... controversial related figures, but he's never actually credited what has to be the main source- this website. The LMW Community has such a vast collection of information that he had to at least get some help in research from the wiki itself and the forums (which as noted above he is a member of.) However, go to any of his Lost Media videos, and you will not find a trace of our website. As an example, the link above contains a Lost Media video by him which, again, doesn't cite the wiki once. If he did give credit to us, we could get the traffic we need to become a relevant community, and even get more donors which are badly needed by dycaite to keep the site running. If this post seemed like a direct, fierce attack on Vail, just know that I didn't put all this distress into a damaging hashtag or raid on his social media platforms. This is simply something that Vail should have been doing this whole time, even though he seems ignorant to giving us the credit that we deserve.

I recently contacted the Walt Disney Archives about the show. They said they'll take a look but they also mentioned that there was another division in the company that I could contact about the show (perhaps to get a copy!) but I forget what division it is. Regardless, I emailed them.
Knowing how Disney handles my emails after contacting them for Breakfast with Bear, we should expect a response within about four months.
Any updates? It has been about 4 months so it about time we should have an update.
It has indeed been a while, and I have a feeling that either:
A. CaptainMedia abandoned his account.
B. Disney forgot about his email. Or...
C. Both of the above.
However, the new post did intrigue me to email Doug Williams again, which might produce some more results considering it's been MONTHS. I'll edit this post when he responds (unless this post has already fallen off of the first page by the time I get a response), for the sake of keeping up the search while not hogging the top few spaces.

This is a video by one of my favorite content creators, "I Hate Everything". In this video, he talks about some videos he made on his other channels. Even thought he stated in the video that he was going make every video that had a clip featured in this video public, making most of Alex's former content found, there is still a bit of lost content.
The main thing of note is his review of "The Human Centipede", which was taken down by Youtube. However, there may also be other videos that he didn't even talk about that are still on Youtube, but completely private and locked away from the public. (BTW, thanks a ton to the admins for making this board. It finally gives me an opportunity to post about unimportant media that I'm still interested in without looking like a dumbass in the Lost Media board. Expect more posts from me here.)

It says that he wants to keep the site ad-free, but if you paid attention you saw that he was making only a fraction of the money he needed to actually make that a reality. Other than that, Shoutbox hosting is most likely still on there because it hasn't been updated in a while. Still, it's nice seeing another user consider donating.

First official entry! Street Fighter (Lost B-Movie; 1959) Compare my edit and the latest edit before me to the Article Revision thread, I removed this film because I made an article for it. It is a bit sly on information, but it seems notable enough for an article and it has great formatting (sections, an infobox, REFERENCES), so I think it's nice enough to submit here. Godspeed, other people.

The Shoutbox used to be the only place where I could instantly communicate with other members, the only place where I didn't have to care about grammar, facts, I could just emote. It wasn't much, but it was amazing to me considering the only thing like it I had seen beforehand was IIRC. TEP was found on it, 847 leads were discovered on it, and people shared their love for the Lost Media community on it. I didn't join the official Discord until December, and I remember still posting in the Shoutbox in February and March. That was when most people silently waved goodbye, and abandoned ship. I didn't use it once throughout April and May, which really signaled to me it's upcoming death. The only people there were the people who wanted to find stuff like Albanian Spingebub, and The Beatles Cartoon in Spanish, so it honestly felt to me like I was never going to use it again. Then, some raids happened, the official company announcement came, and I finally decided I was going to type up my good by and send it to the world.
