Really sorry 'bout the necro, but Dreamfinders got mentioned in a very big video:
Unfortunately for the video though, I found the script less than a week after the video was released, along with all that other info. Maybe, just maybe, it's time to keep searching, as I haven't contacted Doug since that other email.
Also, I'm probably going to edit the Nightmare Ned article because of this video. And keep thinking about all the NSFW/L stuff we have on here.
I think that video actually prompted the initial interest in this search effort. It is too bad that it was posted before any new findings on it.
I sent Doug Williams an email about a week ago asking him a few additional questions but I never received a response from him. You might have better luck though, since you've already had successful communication.
I was thinking about doing this for a while, so maybe you could send me the questions (cuz I already have a line to him.) -Rain

I'm #249, I joined back when ADWSS was hot earlier this year just so I could post something in the thread. I found out about ADWSS through PanPizza (i think), and that's what got me to the wiki in the first place
Although I swear I have some sort of memory of visiting the Wikia or something in 2014... eh, I don't remember specifics, and now I am dedicated to this wiki!
Damn, I'm early if I'm 249 and we already reached Hell: The Number.

This year, I got my first Vinyl Player with two 33s (Sgt. Pepper and Nirvana (2002 Best of Album)) and (almost, I might elaborate if you ask) an obscure Charlie Brown film made before a Charlie Brown Christmas called A Boy Named Charlie Brown (1963).
So, what obscure media stuff did you get for Christmas?
Merry Cracks Day, Rain.

(Don't worry, I'm not talking about Wikia or even some sort of identical clone of the wiki.)
Nope, I'm talking about where I'm typing right now. T H E F O R U M S
So I was searching a term up that I found in the "Don't you just hate it when?" thread, and the only result I found was the post that I looked at earlier, although the post had been on two forums. One of the semi-posts was on the url I always use, forums.lostmediawiki.com, and the other was on this url:
It's exactly the same as here, it actively updates and everything, so that got me a little suspicious. (Another thing that got me a little suspicious was that I wasn't signed in on the other url, but I was signed in and everything was normal on forums.lostmediawiki.com.)
Right now, my theory is that this was where the forum was originally hosted, but Dycaite thought the url wasn't good at all (me too), and bought out the domain forums.lostmediawiki.com. This other site is simply a relic left behind, something that should have died a long time ago.
Now that I really think about it, do some people still use the old URL? Leave an answer on the poll, I'm legitimately curious at this point. -Rain

Don't you just hate it when you get a lot of candy on a holiday and you start eating it but you get full and you can't eat anymore?
Don't you just hate it when school and work get in the way of more LMW?
Don't you just hate it when creators on the internet go on long hiatuses from their work and chock it up to "trying to be more like TV/Comics?"
Don't you just hate it when people make terrible articles for the wiki and expect all editing to be done by other people?
Don't you just hate it when people search for bumpers/indents/schedules/dubs?
Don't you just hate it when people keep trying to bring up that mascot you already saw too damn often if your childhood was Nickelodeon?
Don't you just hate it when the WIKIAadmins keep trying over and over again to revive LLLLLLMWikia...?
Don't you just hate it when people come up with brilliant ideas that are well-suited for them, but then they shove those ideas in the trash and come up with another idea that's just pandering BS? (hint hint WHY THE FUCK DID THEY CANCEL A NEW ADAPTATION OF POPEYE FOR THE FUCKING EMOJI MOVIE, I AM FUCKING MAD SONY)
Don't you just hate it when elections get rigged?
Don't you just hate it when you live in the USA instead of interesting places with much less of the little nuances that us US citizens have to deal with, like Canada, or Europe, or Aussie?
Don't you just hate it when you support one of the two major political parties of your country, full of honest and loving people, but the candidate they choose is not presidential in the slightest? AND THEY WIN?
Don't you just hate it when people misinterpret the meaning of thing here and claim to have found something when they found nothing of value?
Don't you just hate it when no one here donates to the Patreon? Or to actual charities dedicated to lost media?
Don't you just hate it when you go to the thread dedicated to bitching and moaning, something you should be very good at, you can think of this many things, but you still feel like you could have come up with more?

From my experience, just putting the media EVERYWHERE once obtaining a copy is the best route to take. Not just some odd torrent site and YT, but also Vimeo AND Dailymotion AND vid.me AND the Internet Archive AND other torrents.
Torrents are a great way to preserve media, but they can't be the only way. That's why major video platforms exist, why the Internet Archive exists, why the National Film Preservation Foundation exists, why the Library of Congress exists, why climate controlled vaults and safety stock exist.
So, to answer your question sputnick , to me, torrent sites are like an original print of an early silver nitrate film; you have to (or in terms of the torrents should) find it to obtain the film, but you better be prepared to put that thing on safety stock as soon as possible.
(Also sorry if I got schmaltzy with the stuff about old film, but I'm doing something IRL about silent film now because of my time here on LMW.)
And if you want to know my opinion about the other sides of torrent sites, 1. I don't need a new Flash Player. 2. Even if it's illegal to use them technically, they are still close to my heart and I love them.

In terms of the actual point of the thread, what I originally wanted found the very most was Chubbuck (and it's still very important to me), but now I guess I would have to say the Basement Tapes. By god, I really want to know what those fuckos were thinking shooting up a school with no clear mental illness. Also, the originals are probably destroyed now. (Really hope bootlegs exist, but I highly doubt it.)

It was a 1936 drama involving romance and doctors in airplanes in Aussie (bet that perked your ears, Dycaite) which was lost for years, however one day workers were demolishing a building in Sydney when they found a work print of the film. Unfortunately, they decided to discard it and put it in a trash truck, but an office worker (god bless him) saw the truck carrying film tins and decided to give chase in his car. Long story short, he got the film and miraculously, the nitrate hadn't decomposed to an unsalvageable level.
Bet that makes ADWSS look easy.

There is quite a big price range, but any reasonable person isn't going to pay $100, they're going to pay $10 for it. Also, it's on Amazon video for $3.
Also, I actually remember watching one of the specials from the brand. Don't remember if it was 1 or 2 though.
Also also, I found it here after like 2 mins. Seriously, this isn't lost. Unless you define something you can't get for free legally lost.

(Yeah, I know I'm the scum of the earth for using torrent sites. )

Alright, first of all, sorry for keeping you guys on edge. I actually uncovered the stuff below yesterday, but I was too tired (it was kinda late at night) to post this, so here goes.
GOOD FRICKIN LUCK. This makes Clock Man look easily available. If you want to hunt for this, more power to you, but I feel like this will take a while.
On the contrary, I think this could become the easiest search on LMW. It's literally been four days and @StarviendSir has already contacted the man who wrote script for it. And according to him the show never went to production - that means that finding and uploading the script will be effectively making this FOUND. There will still be, of course, many questions about the show that will need to be answered. If he was a script writer for the show than we should be able to conclusively understand the entire development of it.
With that said, it is not 100% found until we can confirm that the show never aired and that the scripts are authentically for the TV show.
Secondly, this. To be honest, I agree with sputnick , it's only been 5 days and we're already getting closure on the search (especially with my next point, hehehe...)
Okay, with that stuff out of the way, time for the moment you have all been waiting for. THE FINAL EMAIL WOOOOOOOOO __________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
When I got that in my inbox yesterday, I practically jumped for joy. Now, from this email alone, we know a basic run-down of the characters, a basic idea of how far it got into production, the production company, the producer, and confirmation that this was at least somewhat live-action.
One email.
And there was a script attached, too.
Also a nice summary of some of the show's elements on the first page of the pdf. For anyone who wants the script, a MEGA download can be found here.
Well, I guess I can finally die happy now. Cheers, Raincrafter.
