All right, I kinda want to bump this thread a bit, because there is new info surrounding this video!
So, Reynard, an admin on this website, who lives in France, via a shoutbox discussion, has seen some of the comments on the video, and people are saying that the video is a scam!
So, now we analyse the facts we have about this so-called video. The video has about 1000+ dislikes and 750+ likes as of writing this, The channel that is hosting this video and has put it in a geoblocked state and behind a paywall, Webdriver Torso is a mysterious and strange channel, mostly posting test bars, and 2 other videos that are out of the norm:
So, Now I'm wondering what will happen if someone in France really did pay? Would the video thing turn out to be a virus thing, would the video screw up, play something that's not Aqua Teen Hunger Force, or play an entirely different video. I'm just really curious to see what would happen if someone from France purchased the video.
Here's what we should do to find out what actually happens, someone should download whatever video is there, if there's any at all, after purchasing it, then sending it to us. Or if someone form France is willing to spend 2 euro on the video, and record the purchasing process via screen capture, just to see what happens.
I remember watching these things: Scooby Doo, Dragon Ball Z, Spongebob Squarepants (I loved it a lot, even had recorded VHS tapes of it, all which got lost when I was very young ), , Fairly Oddparents, Rugrats and it'd be some sort of a long list if I list them all xD
I'd say use Youtube if you need to upload anything. Sure, the copyright system could screw you over, but you might get lucky and never have to deal with it. Does the wiki have a dedicated channel for lost media or are we spread over multiple channels? I think it would be useful for someone to start a channel where snippets of found media get uploaded whenever we find something. I could donate Joey's Peppa Pig recording, though only because it's spooky. The lost part of the episode isn't in the clip.
LMW does have a YouTube channel, one on Dailymotion and one on Vimeo too.
Actor of Brock form Pokemon Live talking about the so called "DVD release":
Making of Pokemon Live:
A Commercial for Pokemon Live:
There were also adaptations of Pokemon Live made in Portugal and a Dutch adaptation in Belgium. It is speculated that there may have been planned video releases of both of these shows (according to a conversation I had in a shoutbox once) Commercial for the Portuguese version:
There were amateur video clips of one of the Portuguese performances that were uploaded in 2008, but have been gone since 2013.
That's all we've got so far, I hope I didn't miss something.
I know that it's common practice to save and back-up videos and stuff, including lost material, found material and really rare stuff (and stuff you may like), but...
I was wondering which video sharing websites are good for posting lost & rare media, etc, etc?
I ask this question because people want to see some lost and found stuff on various websites and stuff. Sure, some lost & rare stuff can be found on some well-known sites like YouTube, Dailymotion, Vimeo, etc, but what about the stuff that's really hard to find online or on many video sites?
Also, a good site for lost media, is Zippcast, but as of recently, Zippcast is apparently getting shut down on June 5, 2016
So, any good sites and places to upload and view lost & rare stuff, etc?
This video, I've always been curious about it. It's an episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, dubbed in Spanish. The video is hosted on a channel called Webdriver Torso, which is apparently owned by Google (Why would an official Google-owned channel have a Spanish episode of ATHF anyway?), and it's only available in France. But it costs 1.99 Euro and can only be paid with a French credit card.
Jeez, talk about geoblocked paywall for a Spanish dubbed episode of a cartoon, in France, a French speaking country xD
Anyways, I know it's not that important but if anyone from France here is willing to help me out, I'm willing to donate them $2.93 (My country's equivalent to 1.99 Euro.), as soon as I learn how to use a visa or mastercard gift card-thing, idk
I'd be really grateful
Thanks in advance.
Do you know what the episode's called? I doubt Youtube is the only place to find it. Would there be any DVDs containing the dub?
There doesn't seem to be any DVD releases as far as I know containing the Spanish dub. and I don't know what the episode is called.
