So, there's this show called Around The World with Willy Fog, which was produced in a co-production between a Spanish company called BRB Internacional and a Japanese animation studio called Nippon Animation.
BRB has some episodes of the series on their 7 YouTube channels in 7 languages (Spanish, Latin American Spanish, English, German, French, Italian & Russian) as well as the entire series in Spanish and English on animakids.com
However, there are 1 lost dubs of the series, the Japanese dub, which is really rare, and the even rarer Korean dub. The Japanese version is called "アニメ80日間世界一周" (Anime Around the World in 18 Days" and the Korean version is called "80일간의 세계일주" (Around the World in 80 Days)
For the Japanese dub, The opening and intro are on Youtube. The first episode of the JP dub is on Yahoo! Japan's GYAO service:
If you know about Dragon Ball and lost media, you will know that a company called Harmony Gold dubbed the first and third movies from the series and about 5 episodes. The 2 movies are the only ones that are found.
However, according to people on the DB forum Kanzenshuu, Harmony Gold still has an audio tape in their vault and it would likely cost about $500 or more to buy the tape, have it baked and make the audio accessible. We nor Harmony Gold have any idea what's on the tape besides music, probably.
All right, can someone who knows Spanish please sign up for Generaction Retro, contribute to that forum a bit, get a rank above Forastero and get that Zero Y El Dragon remaster for me, please?
Does youtube mess with the quality? It would be better to upload to somewhere like mega if they do have it and it does.
Yes, all video sharing websites meant to view videos always apply compression of some sort to videos that are uploaded. File Sharing sites don't do this.
And I honestly think this Mr Pickles guy isn't that trustworthy .
I probably sound like a broken record at this point but I'm still holding out hope that MrPickles isn't a troll, and based on what I've seen from him in the past, he doesn't appear to be.
Well, in the past on the shoutbox, he would spam random things and then just take off, so I am not taking him seriously. He is a lurker from some other Wiki, so I've heard.
This topic suggests something about ranks and there are other topics about how to make contributions and stuff. if you open the spoiler, it says something about if not contributing to stuff in about 30 days, the account will be disabled. it also details the ranks and with certain ranks, giving you more access to stuff.
Just checked the rules, it doesn't seem to require any uploads before you're able to see the download links... just register, activate your account and get the download links (and thank the uploader after you're done, just to be on the safe side).
My account is activated, and I'm already registered. It's not so much the uploads, but it is contributions in the forums, posts, etc. and here's what it says everytime I go to the download page for the movie: "Hidden text. None of the groups you are a member of have been granted access."
it is a fan-remastered version of a movie called Dragon Billy (A Spanish title given to Movies 1 and 3 of the Dragon Ball series, which in this case was dubbed by Video Doblajes SA. de CV., which is based off the Harmony Gold dub of both movies), much like there's a fan-remastered version if the first movie from Harmony Gold.
There is one problem, I need to be a member on the forums and contribute to various stuff and apparently I need to be part of some forum group that has been granted access to the MEGA link. So, what's the problem? the lack of English support and me not knowing what to contribute to on the forums kinda scares me.
