NBC has all of them preserved, they don't put them all online because its hard to put four decades of TV into clips. I think you may have some luck on the SNL app.
Well The Third Sex is someone who doesn't identify as male or female. That is probably why the alternate name is what it is.
Useful! Thanks.
Going back to the references found in Boxoffice, on Page 251 of July-September 1938, there's an article about a film called "Extacy" being deemed indecent in Portland, Oregon.
Now, let's break down 1912 So. Vermont RO. 2205 Los Angeles. Being Canadian, I interpreted the whole thing as a street address, "1912 South Vermont Road 2205 Los Angeles." That's wrong.
RO. 2205 is a phone number. This is proven by "Phone RO-9191" at the bottom of another advertisement.
"1912 So. Vermont" could be "1912 South Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles". It doesn't look like anything is in that building now, as far as I can tell.
Hey, anyone on the wiki who lives in LA, it might be a good idea to go flea market-ing right around now.
And on lantern.mediahist.org I found an address for jewel productions, It may be long gone, but maybe some films are sitting in that buildings basement?
CHILDREN OF LONELINESS" Wm. G. Smith's Jewel Productions 1912 So. Vermont RO. 2205
It seemed to have played in Kansas City a lot. I think it was banned here in New York.

Records from the NYSA refer to the manufacturer as "Kahn and Barley" and indicate that the picture was also known as Strange Lovers and The Third Sex.
So now we have two different title variations, and a different company name. This film could also be sitting in an archive or online somewhere mislabeled with a similar title, or, it could be mislabeled as the 1938 exploitation film "Sex Madness" or numerous other strange sounding titles of that nature.
I was in Calgary for a week and I never went to the University. Silly me.
Thank you for checking in, nitratetednerd.
As a reminder to myself: I am looking for a copy of Gender Line Extended at the Taylor Family Digital Library. It's in their VHS catalog.
I hope that doesn't require getting special permissions.
And when you get the tape, try to find as much information about the distributor of Gender Line Extended. It seems like that company would have it. While GLE is not the film we're looking for, the distributors are hopefully the same. If you can find any contacts with them or if there is a phone number on the tape or anything of that sort, thats what is important.
Jewel productions apparently has an address here in New York, 410 E. 32nd St. New York, NY 10016 USA
But I think thats an apartment complex, and no room number was given.
The main goal right now is to find the US "Jewel Productions" and see if they still exist.
I received the link, and I am not supposed to share it with anyone. But it IS real, memory wipers and all. I asked him if they will ever make it public again, so I'll wait for that response. I really don't know how to prove it to you without sharing the video, I don't want to do wrong here, but it's REAL. The original description is accurate, except he doesn't get "Bored" per se, just frightened.
