- Don't you just hate it when you want to look for a specific image, and the Google Images preview is tiny, so you click to see the original page... and you cannot find the image on the page anywhere.
Right click to open the image.
As I said, the preview image is tiny... and/or it tends to be blurry, and right-clicking it in another window doesn't always work. The result is usually a small potato quality picture if I do that.
- Don't you just hate it when you want to look for a specific image, and Google Images shows you the one you want... through Facebook... so the preview stays blurry potato quality... so you have to go through the trouble of going through the Facebook page, and almost always, it's automatically in mobile mode even when you are on desktop, so it's an awkward clunked mess.
- Don't you just hate it when you want to look for a specific image, and the Google Images preview is tiny, so you click to see the original page... and you cannot find the image on the page anywhere. Bonus when it just directs you to the main page of the site, or has a default "cannot find page" error message.
- Don't you just hate it when they still don't do renovations in the subway stations of your city, and you have to tire yourself by going up long stairs? Even though it's 2022 already?
I've heard of several users trying to submit articles only for them to get deleted and I think most people just got sick of their hard work going to waste, I know I gave up on ever submitting articles after mine kept getting deleted, it's just not worth the hassle.
It depends of what articles those were; could we have more context please?
I miss interactive "choose your own adventure" websites where you clicked a link to decide where to go next.
I've enjoyed one of these as a preteen and decades later, contacted the headmaster who created that website when he was barely in college. He found it cool I remembered.
Here is a movie I wanted to see for a very long time, ever since it was mentioned in a magazine I was subscribed to when I was a kid. Ah, the early 90s.
Plot: Bernie LaPlante is a cynical low-life crook who accidentally finds himself saving people from a plane crash. But another guy takes credit and becomes a hero to the nation... but what makes someone a hero?
Quite a pleasant fun film with likeable characters with actors who give good performances. Hoffman does a likeable fun antihero and the pilot also dabbles into nice news media satire. Also, it has that lovely late 80s-early 90s movie feel that I like.
I recommend not mentioning controversial/political subjects.
Anyway, back to grumbling!
- Don't you just hate it when you cannot eat empenadas in your city anymore? They used to sell frozen empenadas in the foreign cooking area of your supermarket... they don't sell them anymore. There used to be an Argentinian restaurant that served nice empanadas... it doesn't exist anymore.
- Don't you just hate it when you want to show a friend a funny image or video that is relevant to the conversation... and you find out the image and video doesn't exist on the internet anymore? You search and search but it's all been deleted and nobody bothered to make backups? And it's awkwarrrrrd?
- Don't you just hate it when there is a water leaking problem in your walls? And so you'll have to go through mounds of meetings and paperwork to fix the problem? And you wonder why they just don't build walls with solid waterproof material already?
