I speculate you're trolling. But that's just speculation.
I'm not trolling lol
I'm just not sure what you said has anything to do with the topic at hand. I can speculate it's purple outside, but it's not relevant to the overall subject of McDonald's arcade machines.
Unfortunate update to my post: my cousin went through all her photo albums and could not find one photo of us playing on these cabinets. However she does remember us playing on the machines too I'm glad my memory isn't failing me too much here. Gonna try asking some other family members for pictures if they got them!
Hello! Made an account just to comment on this thread. I also distinctly remember playing on arcade cabinets and I am also interesting in finding out this answer.
My cousin had a lot of birthday parties at McDonalds when these cabinets were around, so I have asked my aunt if she has any pictures of us playing at these machines.
I've attached a picture of what I think I remember them looking like. I remember one having a touch screen act as a mouse in particular. I remember them being tall but could be my iffy memory at play with the height. I also remember one having a trackball to colour but that machine I don't remember as clearly. I also identified as one of the games I played on these machines being Sesame Street Numbers (youtu.be/3G0puCDfYAI). Maybe this was the Big Bird game you are thinking of? I hope to help you in finding these machines!
Wow this is a fascinating thread, I personally never set foot inside of a mcdonalds, but swear I think I saw something similar inside of a del taco once. Could be fuzzy memory though. I do wish you luck on this search!

Someone else mentioned one of these machines being in an arcade too, so they definitely weren't exclusive to Mickey Dee's I don't think.
A friend brought these up, and it made me remember this thread. Something I forgot to mention was that my McDonald's had these machines in the mid 2000s(possibly even 2007), so they were around for a while
I don't know if you mentioned where you live, but I live in Canada, so if you live in the states, we know they were used in more than one country
I also don't think my McDonald's got these machines until the mid 2000s because I remember my older brother saying it had something before them, and he was born in 1998
Not a big update, but some additional details. I'm going to ask around and see if I can learn more about them
Already have an update. Someone remembers one of the games being about Ronald McDonald. It makes me wonder if I'm remembering the McDonald's characters as Sesame Street characters, but I'll see what other people have to say
Man it has been a hot minute since I have visited this thread. Honestly, I follow a McDonald's collectors group and I should really ask them at this point because they're experts in anything Mickey Dee's.
Here's what I think I experienced: 1. Not a Sesame Street game but the Philip's CDi game about a seal. 2. Possibly a machine made by Kidzpace, or something thrown together? 3. Also a machine where you could color McDonald's characters in.
I'll hit up that group and ask if anyone knows anything. They collect everything and anything McDonald's so I'd be shocked if it doesn't ring a bell.

I only ever remember McDonald’s having N64/GameCube consoles but the CDI theory does make sense as it is known that it was used for other restaurants and retailers such as Burger King and Kmart.

Yeah this was probably around 97 or 98, so before the GameCube. Kidzpace did email a machine from around that time, but my sister who is 7 years older than me swears that wasn't it. I settled on it possibly being a CDi because somebody else verified it being that circus seal game. They were reading this thread for awhile, I should check up with them cuz that link I posted it gone.
I might be losing it, but something about a game at McDonald's where you can color things in rings a bell. Something about an interactable screen at a McDonald's feels familiar. I played the N64s at McDonald's a lot lol.
