Oh wow I wasn't expecting to see this thread updated. So the contact at Kidzpace reassured me that he didn't forget about my request, and then hasn't responded since. That was last month? I don't wanna keep pestering him so I had sorta let it go.
A trackball huh? I'll be honest I don't totally remember that, but it makes sense.

Hello, I just stumbled upon your thread and have to say I find this quite interesting, I make YouTube videos on obscure and lost media and would love to make a video on this to maybe help get some more help on this search, I am not a big YouTuber as I only have 662 subscribers but its better then nothing, here is my channel if you or anyone on this forum is interested in checking it out

Oh yeah sure feel free! I also thought about doing a video about this for my YouTube channel. But my channel is pretty itty-bitty, it would really just be for the fun of it. Plus it just helps me get my research together better.
Do you folks think it would be awkward to hit up the kizpace guy one more time? He said he'd get back to me and then ghosted. I'm pretty sure it just slipped his mind, but I don't wanna be annoying.
That being said, now knowing these machines were more than likely made by kidzpace, maybe that could direct this search towards other helpful routes.
So the one thing that does stand out to me is the fact I can hear Big Bird talk, which was something I did originally remember when I was first looking into this. However, me and someone else remembered a circus seal (well for me it was an elephant but I could have gotten it confused with the seal), which matches that other Philips CD-I game I posted. Maybe that game was also on the Pico? Honestly, that would make a lot of sense if I just combined two games into one weird memory.
The only thing throwing me off is my sister saying these machines aren't it, because the timeline matches, they were at McDonald's, the set up is exactly like how I thought it was, and one of them looks like it has a pen tool which would match that color in Ronald game. But she was older than me and tends to have a really good memory, so that throws me off.

Kidsspace made a lot of kids gaming kiosks, and I can't find exactly a list of ones they made in the past but most likely what you saw was just a cheap kidsspace or a knockoff of one the owner had installed and probably had some pico learning games. Looks like kidsspace is still around also
When typing this I had a DUH moment and decided to use the wayback machine, here is a working backup of the site from 2002 with a lot of the kidzones projucts you can view with working pics, by the looks of it, it could be this bseries one.

The only problem is that this one isn't a sit down, and I'm pretty sure the one I'm thinking of had a chair. Also, I don't think it had a controller.
The chair couldve been seperate
I'm just saying, I think the one I posted before is a lot closer than the B-series.
Edit: I guess I should specify in that I think they had to be table tops. If you look at the picture of the kid playing it, he'd have to crane his neck to look at the screen if he was sitting down. Whereas this was something I could easily go up to as a 4/5 year old and comfortably play.
Also I'm not sure how old the B-series is, but my time frame here has to be around 97-99, I don't know exactly when or for how long they were there, but definitely before the 2000s.
Edit: my sister says the B-series looks too early 90s for it to be right, and also said it was closer to 97-98. Do we know how old the B-series is?

it has been forever but I have to ask was it a touchscreen that you remember and if so was there a coloring game?
