1.) There was a plane crash in 2009 not the Sully one but one that killed everyone in the Atlantic off the US coast there was an entire new cycle on how did no one came to rescue them from drowning.
2.) Michael Cera died of a drug overdose in 2012 people were talking about he was getting into More mature roles and he was cut short.
3.) Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani broke up around 2017-18 but were in good spirits about it. thats why the Superbowl commercial existed without the a few years ago bit.

For some reason I always thought Bruno Mars was Bruno Marz. I could have swore that somebody (I’m thinking Jimmy Fallon) made a joke about on pop star on Mars named Bruno Urth (or some other misspelled version of Earth). I guess I’m thinking of Jason Mraz…maybe.
I've been talking about Sonic for a bit too much lately, but his arms. I can never remember if they're blue or tan, but that may be due to the fact that he's had his arm color change in some games/shows.

I wonder if the Michael Cera one is due to This is the End.
I brought this up in a different Mandela thread, but I remember talking to my friend about the Berestain Bears cartoon, and I recalled there was a sketchy con artist character who would occasionally cause trouble for sister and brother. I remembered his voice, and I even remembered him in the intro when they introduce all of the bears. Only for me to then look it up and realize that he didn't exist. What I think happened was that I conjoined two other characters in my mind and assumed it was one character.
I remember Mr. Mime from Pokemon looking different when I was a kid. I remember him being brown with black arms. Honestly, he looked sort of like Hitmontop with a round head but this was back in the 90s during gen 1. I remember seeing him in the Poke Rap and on a Lunchables box.
I swear I watched Sonic Underground in like 1997 or 1998 when the show didn't actually air until 1999. For a long while, I even remembered it as "one of the first shows I watched," which is impossible! I attribute it to mixing up a lot of times and dates in my head and "association" of media with certain places we lived (I have moved a lot)
I remember that Super Mario 64 had a 2-star door, that the Mario head on the intro sounded like Luigi without the accent and that peach was actually inside the stain glass

One case was EastEnders being set on the River Thames, instead of Albert Square. I actually thought it was set on the Thames, and then I realised that it was set in Albert Square. Silly me! 🤭🤭
1. For a long time I thought the 70s R&B act "The Five Stairsteps" were "The Five Starships" 2. Bob Barker died in 2008 right after retiring from hosting the Price is Right.

I was shocked to find out Barker died this recently.
I've been thinking for a long time that Nicholas Cage's oldest son, Weston, died back in the late 2000's from a drug overdose. Well, I finally looked it up yesterday, and he's very alive and well, and playing in a black metal band called Eyes Of Noctum.
I'm not sure if I simply had him mixed up with John Travola's son Jett, who did pass away back in 2009. I could have also been thinking of Nick Cave (in case you're unaware, he's a longtime musician, most notably with his band The Bad Seeds), who had two sons die: Arthur in 2015, and Jethro in 2022. In any case, it was definitely a personal Mandela Effect.
