Hey everyone fairly new to finding lost media but I've done a lot of research and found some interesting stuff.
Imagine combining Mario with Travis Touchdown and you have a flash game called NO MORE PLUMBERS. It was essentially made kind of as a tribute to No More Heroes with a twist and there are only like two videos on YouTube that I managed to find that showcase the game in two parts. Basic game play consists of some platforming moving from left to right and also fighting since Mario has a shovel he uses to whack enemies. It was released on August 16, 2009 and created by Mecha the Slag found through The Mario fan games wiki and also contained two links. One for Mecha the Slag’s website and the other was the Mario fan games galaxy message board. Mecha's website otherwise known as Mechaware.net isn't in service anymore so I get an error page usually. The Way Back machine actually showed me what his page looked like but the download link doesn't work and neither does it work on the Mario fan games galaxy message board thread. I should mention while it was originally released in two Episodes eventually you could get them both in one download. So i decided to do more research on the creator and found him on some old tf2 wiki forums along with his Twitter and email but both seem inactive. I also found his "Slagapedia" wiki with a comment saying he created A Hat in Time. I needed to make sure of the validity of this claim and I also dug of some Steam discussion forums saying “Do you guys remember Mecha the Slag? I remember him from TF2 servers and that he was working on A Hat in Time.” With comments exclaiming that he is actually the main director for A HAT IN TIME. I also saw his new alias he goes by called MekuCube. A simple google search leads me to his twitter and resume along with a contact page on the A Hat in Time website. I know it's dumb but I did actually try to reach out since I couldn't find a private email of his and his twitter was unavailable for messaging. I haven't heard a reply back and now I'm pretty stumped on finding any other information about the game or creator. I would love for someone to give any further information about the game if they have any or if someone this has it to upload it to archive.org. Since I haven't heard anyone talking about this one. I will also be providing all of the links for the websites I looked at down below minus MekuCube's twitter just out of the sake of privacy but you can find them with a basic google search. Hopefully we can find this thing and thanks for reading!
