As my name says, I’m a huge Go Nagai fan, and I’m searching for his older works before Devilman. One work I remember that’s in his catalog is the series Majokko Tickle, or known as Tickle the Witch Girl. The series was mostly aimed at teen girls and closer to the style of magical girl shows at the time. The anime ran between March, 1978- January, ‘79 with 48 episodes, 48 episodes of which I haven’t seen and can’t find anywhere on the internet, aside from the openings.
The manga also ran around the same time (April ‘78- February, ‘79) and ran in the magazine of Hitomi, although I’m not sure if the company that published it is still around. The artist for the first series was Yuki Narumi. Two other mangas under the same series and writer were launched but with two different artists, in two different magazines. With the second series drawn by Peko Natsumi in Shogaku Ichinensei (May, 1978 – July, ‘78) and the third drawn by Miko Arasu in Yochien (June, 1978 – August, ’78). Both series were made for children.
What does all this text mean in the end? I just I want to find the episodes of Majokko Tickle, it’s one of his more obscure works and I want to preserve it. It’s said to air in Italy, France, Turkey, Spain, and Poland according to Wikipedia. It’s also said that the series had home videos by Toei Video with 4 DVD sets of two discs between 2005-‘06. So it’s probably still out there, I just want the see the episodes.
