Hi everyone! Acorn again, time to yet again talk about internet lost media.
So, any YouTubers who may stumble upon my post, I want to know about YOUR, that's right, YOUR lost videos! But, if they're unlisted or simply privated, that works too!
What did you delete, and why? And do you still have access to these videos? If you want to delete or private a vid, will you be keeping backups?
This is something I'm curious about, so feel free to reply!
And if you're not a YouTuber, you can still comment about lost videos you've seen!
I had a whole channel of about 40 videos. All of them were garbage, so I deleted them all. I'm not actively looking for them so it's not a big loss, I hated that shit.
But then I started making YouTube Poops, but I deleted all those too. Those are what I WANT to see, but can't.
There was one video I made on my old channel before Youtube banned my channel for bogus reasons, it was asking people to sign a petition I made for G.I. Joe Retaliation(that was back when that film was weeks away from going to theaters and it got delayed last minute to next year for a post-3D conversion that nobody was asking for, that petition was actually the thing that got me onto social media like Twitter and Reddit as I wanted to spread more awareness and get more people to sign).

I mostly ventured into YTPs, MVs, and general shitposting. Nearly all of those since 2006 are gone, but somehow, one of those channels that I haven't used since 2009 got recommended to me again and apparently none of it has been blocked. I don't know how it survived this long, but it did. Some of it might be rotting on my old laptop, but the others are definitely lost to time.
When I was younger I used to make “amvs” with windows movie maker but really most of those were just slideshows. When I had my first tablet I also used to make amvs by recording SSB4 on my tv but I ended up preserving none of those

Oh no, not the YTPs!! I wish you were able to relocate them. At least you were the one who took em down and not Viacom.

What was the petition about? If you remember what it was.

Holy shit, that is old. Might wanna go ahead and download them maybe so you don't lose them again, if you want to.

Yeah, it seems like those movie maker videos can't be recovered now since Windows Movie Maker isn't a thing anymore.

it was about demanding Paramount bring the film to theaters that year and stop with their bullshit 3-D conversion that nobody was asking for, I actually did get a few people I knew with their own movie review blogs to sign it but not enough to get any real traction.
