I love this site and have had this always come up and still not sure if I'm making it up or not mentally.
It was during the time with cartoon network fridays, where one of the cartoons would host a show. Saying this is just a reference to the time range. I think they had a preview of these two cartoons or the websites main page had links/images on the opening page
Anyway it was just the start of flash and things such as animation going up online. I remember two different short series being put online at the same time.
Here's what I remember
- There was two of them - one about black crow and one on a "my little pony" type pink pony
- The crow one had a sequence like the start of the Archer cartoon
- The pony one was in a dessert type area (road runner looking) while the crow was just in a dark blue/ black colored area
- The crow had one of those "cool type" beatnik type personalities and talked to the audience at one point.
- The pony fell down a mountain at one point
It would make me happy just to have someone else remember any part of this. I can't find anything about it
