Archival recordings from the original recording sessions of the specials before they were edited for tv have finally been found and will be released later this year in definitive editions. Hearing the Great Pumpkin recordings in full will be miles better than the 2018 release. This is truly a Peanuts collector’s greatest dream! More info here:

Sorry to bump an old thread, but they also released the soundtrack to It Was A Short Summer, Charlie Brown just last month.
All from the original master tapes, like Great Pumpkin and Thanksgiving.

They're planning on releasing You're Not Elected's soundtrack in the same manner on the 6th!

Yep, and as long as people are buying the releases they’ll continue to do more they said.
