If you guys have not heard Warner Bro's and Discovery are during a merger and with this a bunch of projects have been cancelled in the process creating a new trove of lost media. This is gonna to be a thread for all those canceled shows and films
This is a late comment but shouldnt it be a rule on this site that locked away media doesnt count as lost media cause I bet these cancelled projects are going to be locked away and not lost
I am guilty of doing this btw, but even I realized locked away media isnt the same as lost media, the only lost aspect is what vault these media items are in, I dont know where, its all scattered I think.
There's two animated shows on Max I know of that had finished seasons which are not being released- Little Ellen and Summer Camp Island.
As for the other shows being pulled like Infinity Train you can still buy them on other places like Youtube, Amazon, Google Play etc
Summer Camp Island is coming out one way or another. The creator is a little crazy, crazy enough to break copyright. Artists are just like that sometimes
Little Ellen was a contractually obligated nightmare from the beginning, considering that nobody worth doing business with wants anything to do with Ellen anymore. It reminds me of that old Blazing Saddles show that they only made because they wanted the option to make a Blazing Saddles sequel. Nobody asked for it, nobody wanted it, it was only done because they had to and they were looking for a reason to axe it.

Tony Cervone said pretty much the same thing about Scoob Holiday Haunt, saying that since he'd already paid for the musicians he was going to record the score for the movie anyways.
Technically it wouldn't actually be breaking copyright since WBD is doing this as a tax write-off in an attempt to remove some of their debt, so legally they can't monetize these properties in any way so they legally cannot file lawsuits against someone for uploading them unofficially seeing as they've waived all right to make any monetary compensation off those removed shows.

I'm hearing most of it through tumblr and it's just more chaotic as it's unfolding. Apparently, in the rush to get rid of all the CN stuff, they somehow forgot about Uncle Grandpa and there's a single episode up.

I can see that. Some lost media interests of mine that have pages should technically be qualified as such, as sad as it would be to see the pages go (if that does happen, that is).

Especially since most of the stuff being removed from HBO Max is officially available elsewhere.
