Now, I don't remember much from Nickelodeon or its sister channels between 2008 and 2009, but for a long time, there's been one promo from those years that has stood out in my mind. One that I've been trying to reunite with for almost a decade.
My memory goes like this: It begins with Dora and Boots, possibly singing and dancing as they are known to do. Then, out of seemingly nowhere, George Lopez interrupts them to ask them where he is. Dora answers with "You're on Nick Jr." to which George responds, "Nick Jr? I'm supposed to be on Nick at Nite." Afterwards, the duo helps the Lopez find his way to reveal that the whole thing was just a promo for his self-titled ABC sitcom that Nick at Nite was airing in reruns at the time.
I'm not entirely sure about this, but in addition to the obvious Nick Jr. and Nick at Nite (and probably also the main Nickelodeon), the promo might have aired on Nick's other networks as well (Noggin, The N, Nicktoons Network). Of course, I've scanned many commercial break compilations for each of these networks from during this period on YouTube, as well as full recordings on the Internet Archive, but to no avail. In fact, as far as I'm aware, the only proof of the promo's existence currently available online is posts written by other people discussing their memory of it.
To give you a better idea of what I'm looking for, I've provided a single-frame re-creation of my memory of the promo, along with a screenshot from a different promo that also appeared near the end of the Dora one. Hopefully, this will make the whole thing just a little easier. Thank you in advance.
