Hey all 👋
So, upon stumbling across a few entries regarding British television, there was one notable entry that gathered my interest.
As a lot of those living in the UK may be familiar with the show more than those living overseas, The Tweenies was once a popular programme aired on the BBC, particularly CBeebies, featuring a cast of multicoloured characters getting into all sorts of activities in a playgroup. It was a hit during its run, and was a massive success with its target audience.
One thing that some may not be familiar with is the spin off of the series entitled Be Safe With The Tweenies, a collection of five-minute-long shorts made with the intention of endorsing safety awareness for its target audience. Once a piece of lost media, it had all its episodes archived on the Internet Archive, but out of all, only one is currently missing as it was, apparently, banned by the BBC. This episode was titled "Knives", and when it occurred to me that it couldn't be found online as far as I was aware of, I just knew I needed to spread awareness of this particular short.
For the time being, I have already emailed one of the people of the production company that made The Tweenies (Wish Films, initially known as Tell-Tale Productions), and if anyone is happy to help out by all means go ahead^^
Thank you

Episode 16, "Knives", is the only short that is considered to be lost, and the premise of which is only explained through a brief clip within the show's intro. This clip featured Jake seemingly attempting to make a jam sandwich while holding a breadknife, bearing very little information on what the short would be about apart from safety around knife usage.
According to Milo Jennings, who rediscovered the episodes and archived them, "Knives" was banned by the BBC because of its usage of which. Further information also proves that the episode did, in fact, not air again for the recent episode guide on the BBC website. For the schedule where the programme would be airing at the time, "Knives" appeared to only have aired on 26th September 2005 at 08:50 on the BBC Two channel
