I've been terrible with crossing albums off my "to listen" list, and one I've been hooked on from the first listen is Brian Fallon's Painkillers album. It's so good and crushing.
I have been listening to a few different pieces of music recently. One of my favourites, especially for relaxing is Harvey Reid plays "Waltz of Waves" on autoharp:
I also recently found this ITV Schools on Channel 4 Ident (UK) which I have not seen since 1992-1993 when I was 4-5 years old and had not long started School and it brought back lots of memories from that time. It made me realise just how much I liked and still like the music. The first part is called with the rotating ITV logo is called "The Journey" and the second is part with the ITV logo in the circle is "Just a Minute" and they were created by Brian Bennett who used to be in the group, The Shadows.

A friend introduced me to Jackson C Frank over the summer and I've been kind of hooked on his work. I came across his last recordings the other day and I don't think I'll hear anything this great and just sad again any time soon.

My love for this song and the album its from (Painkillers) is unrelenting and I'll never stop talking about it. If Brian is who gets me motivated to return to songwriting, I'll be very impressed.
I must give credit to the Sonic Adventure series for introducing me to the great Ted Poley, after being blown away by "Escape from the City" I had to check out what else he did and I came across the greatness that is the hair-metal band Danger Danger:
