Hey, all. New to the forum here and I actually made an account so I could ask about this. I’ve been looking for a lost commercial I saw as a kid for years now. I was just thinking about it again and I dunno, maybe somebody knows something. It could be a long shot but never hurts to try.
There's a commercial I remember from some years back (early 2000s, I think 2004 or 2005) of some couple that was getting married and all I can really remember was the guy had red tape over his eyes and was bleeding from under the tape. He was dancing with his wife in a brown(??) room with windows in the far back. Then text came up that said "love is blind". I’ve been trying to find it for about a decade now.
I believe there was also a part with a closeup on his face with blood dripping down but I'm not all too sure. If any of you have any idea what I'm talking about, I'd really appreciate it!
Some extra info: I think the implication was that he blinded himself to not see her before they walked down the aisle or something like that. I think she ended up doing so as well? It’s a really hazy memory so unfortunately I don’t have too many details to go on but hopefully it’s enough. I lived in southern California at the time and I was over at a friend’s house. They weren’t allowed to watch cartoons so I don’t think it was anything like Adult Swim. I’m not sure when it came out because I only ever saw it the one time, but it would have to be the early 2000s, 2005 at the latest.
ETA: I also remember a shot of him standing in front of a vanity looking into the mirror and about to blind himself, with the tape either in his hand or on the vanity. This was before the other above mentioned scenes.
