A long time ago, when I was 8, I remember seeing a 3-episode TV show on the BBC called Fire Detectives. As the name suggests, it was an show based around firefighting detectives investigating the cause of fires. I found an episode of it on YouTube some years ago but I since have been unable to find it. Given how many videos are based around fire, it's impossible to find and there are at least two more episodes that I didn't find. Thanks to the BBC One website, I can say 5 things for certain about it;
1; There are 3 episodes and at least 2 are fully lost as far as I can tell. If the YouTube upload has been removed, it's fully lost.
2. It aired on BBC One.
3. Each episode was a half hour long since the BBC does not run ads because it's government funded.
4. It aired between May 26th and June 6th 2008.
5. One episode was about the detectives investigating an arson attack on a family home.
One very specific thing I remember from one episode is that there is a call to the fire service ("hello fire and rescue") with the episode showing a fire engine leaving the station. Sometime later, it shows a burnt bed and describes how a child narrowly escaped his room through the window or something.
Due to being 14 years old, it is no longer available to watch on the website and the Wayback Machine has archived neither the episode page nor the individual episodes so that's a dead end. It is not the same as Fire Investigator on Amazon nor does it seem to be on any streaming service either.
