Hello! Some time when I was younger, around 2010-2011, my mom and I went to our local library and rented a video. I believe I saw it once and returned it a few days later, never to see it again. I'm very curious as to see if anyone else knows about this in any sense.
It was some sort of educational video, possibly made to introduce American children to either the Islam religion and Muslim practices or to an Arabic language. However, reflecting on what I've written, there's also chances it could've been an Indian cartoon? Something in the back of my mind is hanging onto the notion of an Islamic cartoon.
From what I remember of the cartoon itself, the background of one scene I can remember was a yellowish rendition of what appeared to be the Taj Mahal. One character, possibly the protagonist, was a purple mix between a Blue Meanie from the "Yellow Submarine" movie and the Clockman. There were some other characters, maybe different types of colorful animals? The cartoon was most likely hand-drawn, and looked reminiscent of "The Treasure Planet" (1982 Bulgarian film) and, again, "O parádivé Sally".
I don't remember much more. I have a hunch that it was one of those educational books bundled with a DVD, and was in a yellow box, though that might've been a different Spanish book/DVD. For all I know, it could've been a VHS, as we has a VHS player at the time.
If anyone has any tips, leads, or memories, please share! That's all from me for now. I'll try and make a mockup of what I can remember.
Sincerely,
TrainBoy227
Edit 1: Here's a(n admittedly poor) mockup. The colors are much more vibrant in the actual cartoon. Do with it what you will.
