When I was in high school German class, my teacher showed us a VHS that he recorded when he lived in Germany, of several music videos. This was in the mid-2000’s, but I think these videos are from the 80’s or early ‘90’s. Some videos in particular stand out to me and I want to know what they are.
1. It was like a remix song. It was made up of clips from news reports, including JFK saying “Ich bin ein Berliner”. I think the only “original” part was a woman singing “Berlin, Berlin”.
2. A video that featured two guys using construction equipment chanting “alles super gut, ja” in a monotone, almost robotic voice. At one point one of the guys starts shouting “wunderbar” and laughing insanely. This video basically became a meme in my class.
3. The video had a live action guy running around an animated background of different places. The only ones I remember were Greece at night and under the sea. The video ends with him waking up with a start, looking around and going back to sleep. I don’t remember any of the lyrics.
