For those unaware, Peter Sotos is an American writer & musician. In his works, he examines sadistic criminals and sexually violent porn, usually involving children. He is also a member of the band "Whitehouse" a harsh-noise group.
My main question, and out of sheer morbid curiosity is the origin of a lot of the interviews with victims of sexual abuse and various other crimes within his albums "Buyers Market" and "Bird seed". I'm fairly certain a lot of them are from documentaries, or news reports, as a lot of them have background music, and just have that sorta docu-interviewee vibe to them. It's kinda hard to actually research this, cause copy and pasting with quotations a lot of the things said in these tracks would put me on the FBI's watchlist.
A warning, these tracks are pretty disturbing, and deal with some heavy subject matter.

I'm very, very new to Peter Sotos so this intrigues me a fair amount, knowing how prolific he is and that he's active with writing and musical production as of last year [2021].
I'm combing through Bird Seed again and I feel like we can start to trace things back with David Cash and Jeremy Strohmeyer, at the very least. Finding the news reports and interviews for that might not be all that challenging. As for everyone else, I'm not too sure as far as finding clues goes as to if they're connected to any broader or widely known cases. Buyer's Market is like this too, with the Bundy trial being an easy given. I wonder if Sotos has any sort of online presence or his publisher(s) can offer a way to get in contact with him about the origins of where they come from; especially if he conducted some of them himself unless it comes down to confidentiality. I'd also suggest turning to Reddit for guidance as well. I'm not sure if r/morbidreality is around anymore. But, subreddits like r/documentaries and r/truecrime might be able to help. I'd say the history subs as well and places like r/vintageobscura could offer insight, but that's up in the air.
