Possible missing footage from Fraggle Rock

I recently watched the French and German versions of "Beginnings" and noticed that they both had footage in the non - outer space scenes that aren't in the U.S./Canadian version. I have noticed at least 3 instances of this:

-In the French and German versions, the shot of the nameless background fraggles hanging around after they sing "Hip Hip Hooray" the first time goes on a few seconds longer

-In the French and German versions, Uncle Matt gets stuck in the hole to outer space and Gobo has to push him through - most of this bit is missing in the U.S/Canadian version

-In the French and German versions, after Gobo says "through that hole is outer space", Boober says a line that is completely missing from the U.S/Canadian version. This is the only one of these instances to involve actual dialog.

Since back then other countries had less commercial time than North America, this seems to be a similar phenomenon to the U.K skits from The Muppet Show ( I know they didn't have commercials on HBO, but the HBO version always seemed to be identical to the CBC version) It's possible that the elusive U.K version of the show could have had these scenes in English
