Hi! i'm a recently new forums member! I'm just stopping by right now just to ask if anybody here remembers some kind of old interactive tv plug in game? i think it's from Vtech? (it probably isn't though), i can't remember for the life of me what brand it was from. all I remember that i think it was an interactive touch pad or a book or something like that, and it came with a couple Scooby Doo games and a few Spongebob games because i clearly remember playing specific episodes of Spongebob on it (specifically Hooky, Pickles, and Jellyfish Hunter I believe) if anybody remembers please help me refresh my memories, thank you so much and have a wonderful rest of your day/night!

Was it one device you're remembering or multiple? Cuz I know there was a line of Jakks Pacific touchpad plug n play devices from 2012 that fit your description. I had a Spiderman one as a kid with a Smash TV clone on it.
I believe it was only one device, also i really don't think that's the exact device sadly i think it was more the size of an actual Vtech device actually would it be helpful if i try and give more details about it? like a specific memory of me playing it on the tv? just wondering

Plug-N-Play emulation in general has really only slowly steadied along & we still have many of those things that still haven't been dumped yet. Just look at this playlist filled with ZC-Infinity playing a lot of those things. And yes, I made the playlist myself because I really wanted to make a complete playlist for anyone to see.
by the way i only know that it can't be leapfrog or Vtech/Vsmile because i remember playing it on the regular tv and not a handheld console, also no i don't think it's the fisher price interactv either, thank you yall for the ideas though!
there's a couple specific scenes that i remember from it if that might help any? the first scene was from Hooky when Squidward was flipping the burnt patties on the grill and after mr krabs laughed about Spongebob not taking a break and after his body parts fall off, the screen freezes for a few seconds i think to move onto the next scene or a mini game i also remember another scene from the Jellyfish Hunter game where the screen freezes for a second to take you to a random matching mini game or something like that, or a mini game where you help build the jellyfish catching robot

The V-Smile was basically a plug n play TV console. There was also a handheld, but the main V-Smile people are mentioning here was for the TV and had SpongeBob and Scooby-Doo games, which fits your previous descriptions.
am I remembering wrong then? because i've had both Vsmile consoles (plug in and handheld) and i don't really remember there being a "build a robot" mini game on it to be honest. also the Vsmile Spongebob game doesn't have any full episodes on it. It's just a basic stand alone game
