I figure this show is much too obscure to warrant an article, not to mention the complete lack of information surrounding the topic.
Mix Master: King of Cards is a Korean/Japanese anime based on the MMORPG Mix Master. The show can best be described as a more comedic take on the card game anime genre; A game world is mixed with the real world, bringing the creatures that live in said world with them. The creatures, called Hench, do not get along with the humans, and often fight. The main character, Ditt, is destined to become the Mix Master, a legendary hero that will save both the game world and the human world with the help of the Master Hench, but not only can he not find the Master Hench, he's a huge slacker. There's a bit more but I've rambled enough, now on to the good stuff;
The show was followed by a sequel series, Mix Master: Final Force in 2010. For the most part the series is not relevant, so don't worry about it. Around 2010 or 2011, Sunwoo, the producer of both King of Cards and Final Force made a trailer to sell the series to advertisers in the US. For whatever reason, Sunwoo uploaded this video onto Youtube long after the show had finished. Strangely enough, this trailer uses unseen footage from what appears to be a pitch for King of Cards (2:28 and 2:46). While I assume no animation had been done on Final Force considering it's entirely recycled footage from King of Cards and concept art, I have no idea why they chose to use clips from the pitch pilot.
How do I know it's from King of Cards and not Final Force? The designs match up with the designs used on this specific piece of art used to promote King of Cards prior to the series' debut (and for some reason, often to promote the series itself), as well as on a Mix Master microsite SWF (that's thankfully been archived).
Curiously, the footage used for Moreen is actually of the character Poy, who did not appear in Final Force.
When emailing Sunwoo (more specifically the email address provided on the official Mix Master Youtube channel), a representative from the company informed me the clips from "the planning stage's cut".
This confirmation and those two clips are the only info I have found regarding it, and I've searched high and low. While I have no way of confirming this due to no clips being online, the only other place outside of the staff itself that could have more footage is the Taiwanese dub of the series, as it appears to be made by Sunwoo themselves instead of being based on the English dub like other dubs are. (I've heard there's strict rules against searching for foreign dubs that aren't English, I apologize)
