A story about my first successful search finding lost media

My first successful search in finding a piece of lost media is the Aussie Disposals Oi Oi Oi jingle used in radio ads from the mid 2000's until the early 2010's.
For those of you who don't know, Aussie disposals is an Australian based chain of retail stores that sells camping, fishing and outdoor supplies.
Starting around 2008, they introduced a very catchy advertising jingle called Oi Oi Oi. This jingle was used in full for a few years with the closing line being used up until late 2010 or early 2011. When the jingle was discontinued, I first thought nothing of it but a few years later, I really wanted to find a copy of the jingle in it's entirety. My search started around 2014 and for many years, I got nothing but in early 2021, I found a website containing several different advertising jingles used by various companies in Australia and as luck would have it, the long lost Aussie Disposals Oi Oi Oi jingle was among them. I immediately clicked the play button expecting to see a popup telling me to create an account in order to listen to the jingle but instead, the jingle started playing and for the first time in almost 10 years, I heard the very jingle I had spent years searching for but best of all, the copy I found appears to be taken directly from the master and the audio quality was amazing. I was so happy to have found this jingle which is IMO, a true Australian icon. I currently have a copy uploaded to Archive.org and will soon be creating a new YouTube channel dedicated to media preservation. The Aussie Disposals jingle will be among the first videos uploaded.
