Most disappointing found media?

The Wacky Adventures of Ronald McDonald "The Legend of McDonaldland Loch" because it just wasn't that good. Of course our goal on this wiki is to find any form of lost media even if the media isn't that good.

I mean, yeah, if you give a bunch of money to a known scammer he'll probably run off with it.

Gonna go with Cracks. I just didn't find it that creepy.

I loved Cracks. It's a charming little short taken on its own merit.



I'd say Cry Baby Lane. The hunt was thrilling, as was the hype when FireSaladPeach told us she had a copy and shared those two legit creepy clips. I remember watching the film as a kid and being traumatized by it. Like, legit paralyzed with fear, afraid to turn around type scared. It was all I thought about the next day and left a big impression on me for a long time afterward. And then the film was released, and not only was it not scary, but it flat out sucked as a story. I wasn't expecting to be terrified again, but I figured there would be some genuine creepy moments. There was even one notable commercial I recall from the first airing which I remember being scary...but since her copy had no commercials, that was lost and will never be found again. We didn't even get a satisfying conclusion from Nick, they just callously tried to profit from the event when they'd brushed off its existence as a hoax for years. In the end, the legend of the film and the search for it was far more interesting than the actual movie. I can't think of anything else where that's the case.
