The game I used to play on newgrounds and it's hard to lowball when I used to play it, but it might've been 2014 kind of flash game or later, since those were popular back then, it had many references to games, it mainly having a very super meat boy-like style to it and a donkey kong country map. The main plot of the game was somewhat of just "play as the hero and save the princess" kinda way, with the final boss, atleast from what vividly can I remember, has a sonic 3-ish kind of thing going on. Unless it's nowhere to be found and only as a standalone swf file (since flash support has been taken out of most browsers by this point), then I don't mind playing it again just like how I used to.
