Sadly, he might not even have it anymore. But, at least we know that somewhere he has a recording of the Harmony Gold Dragon Ball movies! Anyways, I'll update y'all on the search. I don't have a DVD burner right now so this is the best I can do; how does this compare to the censored version you're talking about?

Alright. This is the version I've always known. I don't really know what the censored version looks like.

As others have said this scene is in the standard US version. As gory as it is it was never censored. One scene to look for would be the scene of people getting cut up by Rei. One shot of that sequence was restored from a trailer but the rest of the uncensored scene is still lost. Or you could look at the scene where Ken crushed that guys head for stomping on Rin. Obviously we're looking for the version that doesn't have the absurd filters.

The original version was never released outside of its initial Japanese theatrical run. There was one print struck and Toei has either lost it or it was destroyed. If somebody says they have it- they are lying. Only the Italian VHS contains some uncut scenes as well as the original Japanese trailer contains a snippet of uncut footage.

But yeah, me and Sakura Stardust discussed this and we're 90% sure it's the uncensored version. We're also 100% sure it's the same print that appeared on Yahoo Japan half a year ago, as the stickers on the reels completely match. Don't know what BlueBaron is talking about.
