Hello, I made this thread in the hopes that someone here might be familiar with the site Brightcove.
I've been spending the past few days hunting down information on Animax Asia English Dubs. If anyone is familiar with Animax Asia, then you know how notoriously difficult it is to find videos of some of their more obscure dubs. There used to be videos on their website, but whenever I try and access them through the Wayback Machine, they never play (And this goes for every video I've tried. Yes, I have Ruffle.)
From the past few days of trial and error, this is what I've gathered: All of the videos on their website were hosted on Brightcove. Using the CDX search method, I found tens of thousands of URLS. Of course, I haven't combed through them all, but I noticed that some of the URLs contain the name of the video/website. After awhile of searching, I found a handful of videos from different Animax domains, but whenever I try to download the .swf file, it's WAY too small, and they have names like called "BrightcoveBootloader"... I assume this isn't the right file.
Here's an example link (The .swf file will immediately start downloading on your computer, so be warned if you don't want that)
Does anyone know the solution to this issue? I tried looking elsewhere, and I can't find anything about how to access old Brightcove videos through the Wayback Machine. Is it even possible? Should I give up?
