I mentioned this on Reddit and other people who may know what I’m talking about but I’ve gotten little to no help.
I remember when Time Warner cable was still a thing- like around 2010-2012. And everytime me and my cousins spend a time at my grandma’s house we’ll go in one of the back rooms and listen to music from music choice OnDemand on one of the tvs. One of my cousins would always choose this song called “Dougie Fresh” by an artist I do not remember. The music video was a blur cause I never really paid attention to it and always just vibed to the beat. But I do recall them being in like a club setting. The chorus goes as follows: “I’m [so] fresh. Dougie, dougie fresh.” And he repeats that line another three times. There was also a woman who’s voice was pitched up and she was singing something but I can’t fully remember. I know the song is called Dougie Fresh cause that’s what the title pops up when we browse for it on Music Choice. The rapper was a dude and I’m guessing he was bald and he had a lighter skin tone- that’s all I could remember of the artist.
I’ve tried searching on Google, even using that humming feature they have now, but the only thing that pops up is the popular artist from the 90s Doug E Fresh and that’s not who sings that song. I’ve also tried searching through streaming platforms and even using the way back machine to get on music choice and search for it, but the website barely works.
It would mean a lot to me if I would get some extra help on finding this song cause I’ve always sang the song in my head but I could never figure out who sang it or what the actual song is called. Thanks a bunch <3.
