I asked about this on r/tipofmytongue before, and didn't get any answers there, so I'm hoping that someone on this forum could help out.
This was in the early 2000s, somewhere around 2002 or 03. I was living in Anchorage, Alaska at the time. It was a daily comic involving a flamingo and a smaller black bird (I don't know if it was a crow or a literal blackbird). I only saw one strip from this comic, and I believe it involved the two talking about a fish walking on land or something like that?
I remember the art style kind of reminding me of Garfield, though it could just be my memory distorting it over time. The fact that I've never seen this comic mentioned anywhere else makes me think it was an obscure and short-lived comic. Hell, it may have been a local comic that was only published in Anchorage.
Since r/tipofmytongue was no help, I'm hoping I can get some help here.
Do you remember which newspapers you might have had access to at the time?
Does this look familliar? This is "Animal Crackers".
many comics are short lived. I think i have seen that flamingo and black bird comic not remembering that exact flamingo comic. read more about can flamingo fly.
