i have been looking for the recordings of the rush Limbaugh show just after the 9/11 attacks like from just after the attacks up October of 2001. I have looked and looked the only thing i could find is the KFI (LA) coverage of the attacks (rush was off that day but did join Bill Handel to talk about the attacks) I'm wondering if anyone has these or knows where i should look.
Apologies for bumping such an old post, but for a show with such a large impact on the American political landscape during its' run, recordings of Limbaugh pre-2005 or so, let alone transcripts are shockingly hard to find. Limbaugh and his staff were working on digitizing and making available every show to subscribers, but considering his passing the current status of the project is unknown. (https://www.rushlimbaugh.com/daily/2020/02/21/rush-24-7-for-eternity/) I believe that recording from 9/11 is the only recording publicly available right now. If you're still here, have you (or anyone else) searched through station air checks from that era? Archive.org does have a few air checks that claim to have clips of Rush Limbaugh, but they seem to be from the 90s.
