There was a Halloween decorating TV special I remember watching as a kid, but I can't remember what it was called and haven't seen it since. It would have probably aired somewhere between 1998-2000. The feel was similar to a Martha Stewart show because it explained how to create things to decorate your house, but I'm almost positive it wasn't by her. The segment I remember the most had a male presenter, and he was building life-size Halloween props out of dowel rods and with latex masks for the faces. One of them looked like a troll and was placed in between the banisters of a stair railing. It was quite spooky. Searches on YouTube have turned up nothing so far, but it's kind of hard to find relevant results for something like this without knowing the title as there are so many Halloween DIYs out there.
