i'm looking for this game show that i watched when i was 3 or 4. it was called "Crawdaddy" and it featured contestants throwing darts at increasing-difficulty obstacles that had questions about history and pop culture on them. the last contestant could face off with the host in the King of Darts and win something, i forgot what exactly you could win.
the host, Jim Sandy died on air after one of the obstacles hit him in the neck, beheading him instantly, hence why the show was cancelled. i can't find it anywhere, the internet archive doesn't have a copy of it, no uploads on youtube, not even the beheading episode on gore sites, etc.
i'd appreciate it if yall would help me out on this one
I can't find any references to this show whatsoever. Can you find like, at least a news article about this dude dying on set. It feels like that would be something noteworthy of the media.

i remember finding a news article about his death a few weeks ago, but i can't find it. i'll go to the archive of the newspaper in question to see if i can find the news article.
it was a pretty obscure show, i was probably one of the only fans of the show so it isn't that noteworthy.
