Probably between 2015 and 2018, I saw a strange music video on tumblr that must have been reblogged by a blog that I was following, but there's no way that I could figure out which blog that was now. Unfortunately I can barely remember any details about what the music video was like, but I will try to write down all that I can remember of it.
Most of the song was sung in an African American-sounding upbeat male voice and I think that it started off sounding like a children's song. I think that some of the lyrics were about waking up in the morning, brushing your teeth, and eating breakfast. The video that accompanied the music consisted of some random clips that probably came from a lot of different videos that were unrelated to the music. The only lyrics that I can remember somewhat clearly went something like, "Where are you going, Spider-Man?", which was played over a clip of a guy who was wearing a Spider-Man costume. The song had nothing to do with Spider-Man, which might be why I can remember that part the best.
In the middle of the song, the voice briefly changed to be completely different. This other singer was repeating many of the lyrics that had already been sung, but he was quickly whispering the lyrics instead of singing in an upbeat tone, which gave this part of the song an eerie atmosphere. During this part, I think that there was a slow-motion video clip that showed an egg being dropped and breaking on a glass surface, among other clips that I can't remember.
After the part with a different singer whispering had finished, the first part of the song started over again. I think that this last part repeated the first part of the song almost exactly, though there might have been some repetition of the final lyrics before the song faded out and ended. I have a feeling that none of the video clips were repeated, and that some completely new video clips were played during this part. The only video clip that I can remember from this part of the song showed a guy looking at the camera while wearing a weird-looking dog costume that had long floppy ears.
So, that's it. Like I said, it isn't a great description, but I gave as many details as possible. If this sounds familiar to anyone here, then I would appreciate being given any suggestions.
