Hello, I know it’s been a while since the CatScratch pliot has been found but I just came here just to be sure if this was really the pliot episode we been looking all over for.
Anyway, Doug TenNapel (the creator of the show) uploaded the pitch for Catscratch onto his Vimeo account over 3 years ago.

Although I don’t really know who voiced Mr. Blik, it definitely sounds like Rob Paulson doing Gordon Quid, just like he did in the series.
However, when me and my dad watch it, it look like the trailer for the show. If fact there was also a storyboard video that we found that featured about a few minutes of the pliot, all be in storyboards. In fact, there is also a video of Doug drawing something that looks like the famous earthworm jim character he created, and a yet another video that just featured Gordon and his early design.
Anyway, I’m not sure if the link is the actual pliot, if you know, please reply.
Yeah sometimes cartoon pilots are nothing more than test animations or reels and sometimes there aren't even any pilots at all. Jimmy Two Shoes is a good example of a series that had a test animation rather than a real pilot and Ed, Edd N' Eddy didn't have any pilot but was picked up instantly so the first episode is sometimes considered the pilot.
The Wiki article also said that Doug uploaded the animation reel himself so I would believe that this is really all that exists.
Actually, there's another pilot for the show that has yet to resurface. Clips of it can be seen in the intro (i.e. Waffle beating Blik with a toilet plunger) and I believe some storyboards are included in the show's bible, which is on archive.org
Elaborating further: it follows the same plot as the pitch pilot, with the three brothers going to the toy store so that Gordon can (secretly) buy a special doll for Human Kimberly. I also believe it's longer in length, as there's scenes from back at their house.
Sadly, I can't find that bible I mentioned in the last post, but it was out there at one point.
Some early behind the scenes material can been seen here, including storyboards for a part (or parts) of the pilot I haven't seen before: archive.org/details/Behind_catscratch_dummy
Below are images that I believe are from this undiscovered version of the pilot, sourced from the intro. Notice how Waffle is a bit of a darker gray than he usually is:
Now, this last image probably isn't from the pilot, as Gordon has green eyes and Waffle has his signature lighter shade of grey fur, but it might be of note since it appears to take place from inside a toy store.

Well, I geuss we have a another pliot to find. In fact, I didn’t know there was a second pliot for the show.
If these photos from the intro were from the pliot as well. It’s possible, Doug TedNapel was probably hiding the real pliot from us.
Maybe we should make a lost media article about the lost second pliot.
Anyway, this is kind of hard to find. I geuss the animation pitch wasn’t the pliot at all.
Unfortunately, I don’t think there is anyway to contact Doug to see if he has the second pliot.
But this isn’t the only time Nickelodeon would receive more than one pliot, as the show Dora the Explorer had at least two pliots (one was probably a demo and one that was about Dora and Boots trying to find a giant cupcake.) before it became it’s own series.
Anyway, I believe you, there maybe a second pliot in existence.

YES!! That's it!! You can see in the pages with the character's poses that there are some familiar frames...from both the pitch pilot AND the scenes I pointed out from the intro!
Plus, here's some other poses of note: Gordon with the teddy for Human Kimberly:
What I think is Mr. Blik saying "To the toy store!":
...and Waffle with the toilet plunger
AND there's full storyboards of the lost pilot, starting at page 68!! Thanks for finding this!
This pretty much confirms that the pitch pilot was made into a whole segment (perhaps meant to be aired as part of the show?), and we know from the intro clips and partial storyboards that it was completely boarded, and at least partially animated
