In 1977, there was a TV hijacking in the UK of someone claiming to be an alien by the name of Vrillon. There only appears to be recreations of it online. Since VCRs weren't very common back then, it is very unlikely that someone recorded this. Am I wrong? Because due to my extensive research, I can't find anything claiming to be the original and authentic recording of the event.
I know the original is online, though i don't know where though.
Are you talking about this one? I've heard that it is only a recreation and that the original was never recorded, but I just want to be sure. Do you know whether this is real or not?

yes, but only because many sources and people told me that this is the real thing, I was unaware that it's a recreation, other than the text and Vegas effects over it, but I thought the footage and voice is real.
Ah, the Vrillon hijacking, the stuff of legends. Most people who know of it only know it happened, but the exact transcript for what was said seems to vary depending on whom is asked, with most sources saying the alien was named "Vrillon" and others saying it was "Gillon" or "Asteron" among other similar-sounding names.
The only thing that's really consistent is the line that "all weapons of evil must be removed/destroyed" (possibly referring to nuclear weapons, since this was 1977 and the Cold War between the US and Soviet Union was still ongoing) and that humanity "had a short time to live together in peace". Nobody knows who actually caused the hijacking, or even if it was done by an actual human, since there was one report that the signal was coming from multiple towers miles apart from each other, unlike the just as equally famous Max Headroom hijacking that happened in Chicago a decade later, though most say it was just from one tower, shown on the Wikipedia page for the event.
That was the one I was talking about. I know for a fact that the news anchor in that video is not Andrew Gardner, which was the spokesperson that was talking when it actually happened. The audio seems convincing, but I know for sure that the video is fake. But again, I'm not so sure about the audio either.
Given how recent this thread is to the posting of this video, Youtube UFOlogist SecureTeam10 recently posted a video where he discusses the famous hijacking event, so just thought it was relevant to the topic.
Didn't Blameitonjorge say in his video about these sort of things that the original was online or am I mistaken and that the video is the fake reenactment.
This is the first time I've ever heard of this, I'm surprised that this is not a source of myth and wonder. You'd think something on this level would have more interest.
