Recently a Brazilian youtuber made a video about two puppet shows shown on TV Cultura in the Glub Glub program presumably from the Czech Republic (but they may have been made in the former Czechoslovakia also depending on the year) and in this video she claimed not to have found information on the intermet about these two shows that she recorded. So I took the liberty of making a post on reddit from the Czech Republic and now a post here on the forum to find out if anyone has any information that could lead to the names of the programs and those involved.
They are two programs with different plots but it is assumed that they were made by the same studio since they both use similar techniques (puppets manipulated by people dressed in black on a black background), the two programs lack dialogue with the bear being a bear and a rabbit interacting and grandpa Cornelius a puppet of an old man (but with real human hands) interacting with objects. The videos uploaded on this youtuber's alternative channel are the only ones (at least as far as we know so far) available on the internet Link to her video: m.youtube.com/watch?v=WOqeBPDa170&t=412s
Update : apparently despite the author of both cartoons Susan Kodicek (born Zuzana Oprsalova; 25 September 1947 - 11 April 2011, also known as Hannah Kodicek), being Czech both stop motion cartoons were produced in Germany so the research is not returned results as glub glub apparently listed the drawings by the author's nationality and not by the studio in which it was produced Grandpa Cornelius' original name is Hobart's Hobbies, and it's about Hobart (or Cornelius) doing everyday things like washing clothes, fixing watches, getting dressed, etc. The Bear Stories original name is Sporting Bear. How they ended up in Brazil is still a mystery. Here's an episode of Grandpa Cornelius: www.youtube.com/watch?v=od5Ynt6psio And one from the Bear: www.youtube.com/watch?v=kd-cfjYTIT8&t Remembering that the channel where the videos were posted has ALL (except maybe 1 from Hobart) the episodes of both series! Thanks a lot for your help guys!
