Hey forum, long time lurker first time poster. I feel like Ive been somewhat haunted by this memory of a series I once watched as a child. I had only watched a couple episodes, not sure if they were even full episodes, but one moment really left a strong impact on me. I’m not exactly sure about the set up of the episode, but the conflict is that one of the characters, an old man slowly starts turning into a human sized houseplant, like a cartoon flower with a giant pot to go with it. It was not instantaneous, but slowly happening over the episode as the other characters worked to stop it. I honestly have no idea what series this was, I watched so many cartoons as a child but most were through public television, nothing local that would be too hard to find. I remember watching about episode or two, but I don’t remember much. It had like a 2d cartoon art style, I honestly don’t remember much specifics, but the old man looked similar to the Mayor from Powerpuff girls from what I can remember. I’ve been searching for this show for so long, The episode really weirded me out as a child and want to know what it is so i can revisit it. I remember watching the 2008 Iron man and 2008 Speed Racer shows some one near watching this show, but that hasn’t come up very helpful in my searches.
