After doing a lot of digging and finding myself in multiple rabbit holes (mostly on Reddit and Blogger), my attention has been directed to a homeless woman named Lena Kochman. She was apparently a frequent shopper at the Braintree Kmart store for many years.
From what I can tell, Lena Kochman’s behavior was often erratic. On certain occasions, she would sneak around the back of the store and skim through the dumpsters for anything that interested her. We had a security camera there, and she was apparently very paranoid about it.
Finally, after being caught in the act, Lena Kochman accused an associate (Jennifer Pritchard, who provided a lot of this information to me) of “gangstalking” her and ran off with a handful of CDs with Kmart branding on them (along with various other souvenirs that had been thrown out after a minor renovation) or at least that’s what I’m being told.
I’ve been looking for ways to get into contact with her. If anybody else is able to help me out here, that’d be great.
I hope I don't need to underline how dreadful an idea this is. Harassing random people over media they posess, especially if they have mental conditions like this, is not our modus operandi. People like you give lost media hunting a bad name.
"oooh, you're a- a freaked out child in the woods..."
Uhhh...let's not be quick to judge here? He was just saying he was finding out ways to contact her. I don't think he's suggesting HARASSING her for it.
On the other hand, if the woman is homeless and known for erratic behavior, maybe it's best to find a different lead?

I think we share a sentiment. Calling a schizophrenic woman with delusions that strangers are stalking her would be good for nothing but giving that poor old lady a panic attack. Besides, we don't even know that she has those CDs and whatnot on her person anymore. I probably could have worded my response more nicely, but I do have a problem with people who come on this forum and go to outrageous extents to find their media of choice. I was speaking with the memory of the Me and My Friends search and the depraved behavior of the people searching for the Christine Chubbuck tape on my mind. I don't doubt that OP is a decent, if misguided, person. I just wanted to jump in and discourage behavior that could have consequences for this entire forum if unchecked.

I think the guy was trolled.
The woman mentioned by name is a girl who was well known for having "gang-stalking" paranoid delusions which she posted videos about and was mocked and bullied over it. There are pages about in on several meme and troll related sites. She's obviously someone who should just be left alone.
"Hey go track down the homeless girl who had gang-stalking paranoia and a very public meltdown 10 years ago, which everyone then made fun of, she'll have your 20 year old discs!"
What are the odds of her having anything to do with this, vs the odds that some troll thought it was funny to get everyone to try and track down this girl who is well known for having paranoia about being tracked?
(EDIT: plus the term "gangstalking" itself is a red flag. That's not a term in the videos, it's always "stop following me" and "why are you following me". gangstalking is the term given to the *phenomena* of people who believe they're being tracked, and is actually fairly recent, first coined in the mid-2000s. So the idea that she used that term herself, let alone back when these CDis existed is almost impossible)

Cross checking this, and I can confirm she's a favorite of lolcow farmers and other internet sociopaths.
We gotta be fucking careful with shit like this. These forums caught the eye of Kiwifarms back when the Me and My Friends incident happened, and I know for certain that there are people keeping a keen eye here for something to jump on. Honestly, if this was some troll trying to set you up to do something stupid and incriminating for a laugh, I'm even more glad I smelled the BS and advised you not to do this.
There's a lot of people here who can't take cues like this. If we aren't a little skeptical, something bad could surely happen.

Last week, I was doing some cross-checking on YouTube and came across one of her many aliases, but that’s about as far as I’m going to go. youtu.be/kVHT5p8NSF0
Which corporate division of Kmart would’ve likely produced the CD-i discs? I’ve tried to find a list of people who worked in Kmart’s marketing department during the 1990s, but I haven’t turned anything up yet.
One thing I do know is that there are a lot of people out there with Kmart memorabilia (whether that be on YouTube or eBay). I’ll try looking there next.
I am a former Kmart associate that shovels up old memories every so often.
I’ve just received word that somebody covered this subject on YouTube. Thanks for making this niche search known! youtu.be/3r2I-mJ2dis?t=1077
Also, I’d like to apologize for not providing any new updates in this thread. Recently, I’ve come into contact with a former Kmart employee (VIA email) who worked at a store near Camden, New Jersey. They seem to recall nearly everything that I’ve already mentioned, but they told me that they had still held onto their copies of those CD-i discs until the store closed in the late 2010s. All of the store’s existing inventory (including employee materials) were apparently set to be transferred over to a Kmart store that was in Kearny, New Jersey (and according to Google, it was closed in May 2021). Whether or not that actually went through is debatable. The former Kmart employee in question claims that they weren’t entirely involved with managing the store’s inventory.
For one, I’m glad to know that there are Kmart CD-i training discs outside of Massachusetts (and New England as a whole). That’s going to really help put the scale of this search into perspective.
Second off, I think I’m going to try getting into contact with former employees of the Kmart store in Kearny, New Jersey. They might know what happened to those Kmart CD-i training discs.
I will try to keep you all updated with further developments. Again, I’d like to apologize for keeping everybody in the dark these past few months. I’ll try to avoid that in the future.

I just asked one of my coworkers when she started at Kmart, and she said 1999, which seems like it may be a little late for CD-i training, but you never know, I guess.

Yeah, you might as well ask her if she remembers anything about the CD-i discs.

I left the store about an hour ago, but while I was there, I took a moment to talk to the manager (Robert Rothermel). As a former Kmart associate, I was surprised to see that we had a lot in common.
Robert Rothermel has only worked at Kmart for a short period of time, so he wasn’t entirely familiar with the CD-i discs. After ten minutes or so, he told me he’d try to look for them later today. Before I left, he gave me his phone number. I’m assuming he’ll call me by the end of the day.
Once I’m back at my house, I’ll make sure to share all of the photos I took. I actually ended up purchasing a lot of the stuff I needed (along with Kmart memorabilia such as their latest employee uniforms, all thanks to Robert Rothermel).
